kookiman I have a decent collection of cookbooks but I do believe that ya can't have too many !! I like to find them at thrift stores and flea markets as well as garage sales where they go for as little as fifty cents or a dollar. I couldn't agree more that it's nice...

kookiman There are several Simon and Garfunkel tunes that I like to play...Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Boxer, I Am a Rock, Sound of Silence. Playing definitely relaxes me too and I especially enjoy playing with an acoustic guitar player/singer at open mike nights.

kookiman I've been playing harmonica for many years. I started out playing real simple melodies and now I can play just about anything if I'm familiar with the tune and the notes are actually on the harmonica. I good place to buy them at a reasonable price is on Ebay....

kookiman I agree ! I think he was a much better singer than Kris. You won't be missing him too much though since he'll soon be performing on his own. Hopefully he'll hook up with some talented song writers and be all over the tv and radio.

kookiman All the suggestions sound great and I've tried many of them. I like sauteed garlic and onions for starters and any kind of cheese on top. Tobasco sauce is good too or even a little ketchup on the side. Heinz 57 or A1 as well as sauteed mushrooms are tasty too...

kookiman I too lean toward the older stuff...got to see him in concert in 1972 where he kicked butt with a high energy show. He even led a "snakedance" around the stage during an encore. He's a real class act and helped inspire me to play harmonica through his music.

kookiman My very first was Black Sabbath with Ozzie in 1971...paid $4 to get in !! Good show but not nearly as good as Pink Floyd who I saw twice. It's a crying shame how expensive tickets have gotten over the years, like everything else I suppose.
