With increasing number of university students,it is very difficult for us to find a satisfying job, especially during the economic crisis. In my opinion, a satisfactory job is put knowledge into practical work, certainly with a good wage. So more and more students begin to start their own business, they think that being their own bosses is better than working for bosses.According to a recent survey, the ones who work for their owns are more enthusiastic in working compared to the ones who work for their bosses. At the same time, there are more risks in starting their own business. So i want to set up my own company after the accumulation of a certain degree of experiences.what's your opinion?

Well I find that most students expect to walk into a highly paid job and do not want to waste time with gaining experience. No matter how many degrees you have there is no replacement for experience. If you wish to start your own business then that is commendable but I would suggest you work for a company first in the field you wish to start your business to gain valuable experience because no matter what theory you learn practice is much different. A lot of new businesses go bust easily because the owners don't have the relevant experience. Good luck and I hope what ever you do works in your favour

Opening your own buisness requires atleast some experience in that sector so i guess they should take a job in a sector they like and start building up some experience instead of rushing things by starting your own buisness that has more chance to fail than when you have experience

I think that's a great idea. I have a friend of mine who ran away from his home and started working and in time he started a company "LowestPrix" and is now running succesfully now. Just trust your heart and will do best. Want any more internet business oppportunities , ask me I'll be glad to help.

as for me, i prefer starting my own business because i think i can work better when i'm the boss. i don't want to have someone make me hurry and meet deadlines. but if in case, it's my own business, i'd probably more inclined in doing strenuous stuff. in fact, i'm planning to set up my own business from my earnings from working online. i just do hope that my business will grow and it will be successful. i know it's risky but i really want to try.

I think it is also better if you have your own business. If have no boss and you have your on time. Right now that we experience the crisis many companies are bankcrupt or they layoff some of their employees. So starting a small business during this time is also helpful. I'm planning also to start a small business right now because it is hard to finds jobs here in the Philippines.

ya ,with the economic crisis,it has become so difficult to find a job, there are advantages as well as disadvantages to starting your own buisness,in a secular job you get paid immediatedly while in buisiness one has to take alot of risks, still i would prefer buisiness to a secular job as i would prefer to be my own boss.

I think it's a great idea for a students to start their own business. As you've said, it's not easy to find a job that fit us best nowadays. Job that allow us to practice what we've been learn and also offer a good salary. By starting our own business, we're able to work on our favorite sector, and also we have control of how the business would be. If we work harder, we'll get more. But, to start a business, we need to know much about it. Gaining experience by working for other could be a good way to know more about the business we want to start.

Entrepreneurship is better than employment. I think you should start your own business provided that you really enjoy that kind of work. Though I know that start a business is more rewarding than going to work I still want to choose working for others because I don't have any marketing skills yet. I want to earn experience first then I will start my own business.

To start your own business you should have some basic knowledge of that business and for that you should have some experience. So gain some experience by working in some concern then explore the world by being your own boss.

I think starting a business especially for fresh graduates or even undergraduates is better than to work under the supervision of a boss. It's really a good idea especially now a days that we're facing a global financial crisis. Some people are loosing their jobs because of the recession. Yes, I know that it is a good experience to work in a company but I think it is a wise decision to have you're own business for no one will dictate you on how what to do. You're free to do or manage in your own way.

i guess this time it's really a need for everyone to have their fall back in case plan A is not achieved. i admire people who think ahead especially now that we're in the midst of global financial crisis. i hoe that students will also realize this. because after grad not all of them are given the opportunities to work immediately. infact there are still many people out there who were already done in their schooling yet still unemployed. you've got nice idea there pal. keep it up!

I think the education is still necessary. If the students won't have a bad effect on their study when they start to try their own business, I encourage it. As they need to learn some working experience besides study. They may realize that how important the study is since they have their own business. No matter the business is a success or a failure, it will also be beneficial for them. I love China

Well I'm not a student, but I think its great to start your own business if you have the resources available to you, and you fully understand whats involved, yes starting your own business is always better then having to work for someone else, in fact Iv been working on a couple of business ventures, myself, but starting a business even a small one is a big responsibility, and of course isent easy, but if your determined you can do it.

Its not a big deal starting a business, even your just a student. Best practices will be implemented by them since they want their businesses to be successful. One thing that they should do first is to let them have fun on what they are doing, parents should provide full support in order for their student/child to succeed. Its like a training for them as well however its now the real thing. Money is circulating and should be managed well. I also experienced having a small business when I was in high school. Its a hobby that become a business. Well for me its a good experience but since there is a "trend" I'm not yet aware by that time, my business went down because of the demand. for students out there planning to start up a business, its a learning process. But this time, its the real stuff.
