I am very keen on traveling. I have stayed in backpacker hostels, cheap guest houses, hotels and at unusual types of accommodation. For example in Jordan I slept on a flat roof, in Belize I slept in a tall tree house and in South Africa I slept in a train carriage that stood still. When I was in Mexico I stayed in a thatched beach hut with a sand floor and when I was in Sweden I stayed in a ship that was moored. Some youth hostels in Germany are old castles which are charming to stay in.
What sort of accommodation do you like? Why?
Would you like to stay in unusual accommodation? If so what type?

I have stayed in many different kinds of accommodation: Hostels, cheap hotels, expensive hotels, B&B and others. I have never stayed in a very unusual accomodation, but I would love to try it. My brother once stayed in at hotel in an old prison and the windows still had prison bars. He said that it was a pretty unusual experience to sleep there, and he was happy that he didn't have claustrophobia! I don't remember where the hotel was, but it was somewhere in western Europe I think.
