Hi Mylot lovers! The revolution that is Internet...it has become a part of our daily routine! It has affected many areas of communication. Earlier people enjoyed meeting up at their homes and throwing parties! Now they have been transformed into lowcost Online parties! They chat and have fun! No matter where you are you can still connect with your friends and relatives and enjoy their company though virtual but as good as real!--- Can you now think of a life without Internet?

I don't think that I could live without my internet. I stay in touch with too many friends and family. Lately I have been working on making some money from different online adventures. I couldn't do any of this if there was no internet, especially post on myLot!

Hi there. Well, realistically speaking, I can live without the internet, only, I guess it would be quite a lot more boring than living with it.

Hi Ilawise, There are 2 motivations. Wants and needs. At the "desire", OFF when I sleep 4-5 hours. Now I'm entering the stage of "needs". ON the internet when I need something.

No, I really can not live without the Internet. I think the Internet has changed people's living style. We talk as we want freely via the net. We play some online games with strangers. We chat about various topics on the Internet. It is really important to us. We now even use it to buy things. Then they will be dilivered to us.

I asked this question to myself somany times. Coming from a rural place, I later on ended up settle in a metropolis for education , job and then for a comfortable life. So the urge for an eco-friendly, green and fresh rural air is suppressed now for the modern technocrat life. We are so obsessed with using internet these days that I cant even emagine to live at a place where I do not have access to it.

Yes, I can. We've done it before why not this time? Of course the convenience of having one makes it more accessible to accomplish things. But if I have not access to the internet, I will have to get use to doing things the stone age way. I still have the telephone working I suppose to use.

It would be hard for me to not have the internet but I can live without it. I do all my business here and all my communication is done on the internet so if i didn't have the internet I'd have no communication with anyone. But life will still exist for me whether there is the internet or not..

I have had high speed/broadband/DSL internet for so long, that I have a hard time using dial up if I'm somewhere that the other options are not available. I use the internet for many things, including all 3 of my extra jobs. I work part time at a restaurant here in two. But I also work with 2 direct sales businesses and another mlm like business. One of the direct sales businesses emails out updates to stock lists almost everyday. The other one has a discussion group on Yahoo, which is great for reps keeping in touch. This way our head office isn't bombarded with phone calls about the same thing over and over again. The 3rd business I'm involved in does web casts everyday, what better way to do training with people all over the world. They also do training calls that are recorded and loaded up on the website for listening to for anyone that wasn't able to attend the call. My telephone is a VOIP, so without internet I would not have my phone. The major local company for land line phone service has been dropping it's rates over the last couple of years because of companies that do VOIP because they can offer it so much cheaper. With my VOIP I can call anyone in North America and I think about half of Europe as much as I want for one VERY low monthly rate. My husband and I have family all over the world that we could never afford to keep in touch with without VOIP phone. I use the internet for personal use everyday. I use Facebook for keeping in touch with my family and friends all over the world. I post pictures and videos of our son on it so our far away friends/family can watch him grow. I also play a few online video games.

I not only could live without it, I remember being without it! I am not old (32), but I am old enough to remember a time before Internet's existence. And I can definitely say that I prefer a real party to an online one. I do love the convenience of the Internet and greatly enjoy its capabilities; however, if someone took that away from me, I could go on and live a great life without it, same as we did before it was created.

yes,it's really the truth.I am on line almost every day.I think internet occupy an important position in my life.Whenever I want to know something or I want to see a film or chat with someone or buy someting,I just turn to internet.I should say, without internet I am lonely and discommodiousness. But if we haven't internet.maybe it is good for our healthy. We will go out for activities more and feel the nature more. So we should balance the internet and the real life.

My answer is 'NO', I can't think my life without an internet. If I had no internet how would I do my internet business? If I had no internet how would I meet friends from around the world?.....and many more. Once, I went to a very remote area of India where there is no internet. I was there for just a week. During my short stay I thought I was going to die without internet. I started panicing and I said i would never go back to that place :)

I know I can practically live without INTERNET but I wouldn't be doing very well with work then. I need internet for my work - for research and other things. Also internet is a good alternative for me to catch up on my friends (it's cheaper than having to meet up and more importantly, it saves time on both sides). We do still throw parties and we meet up whenever we could, I don't think it's the internet's fault that people meet up less today - I think it's more because it costs too much to go out and party too often :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Well yes.Internet does save a lot of money when it comes to meeting up with relatives who live far away! But when it supports your bread and butter it is an indispensible part of your life! You really can't think of life wihtout it! Keep mylotting!!!

it is a convienent way to keep touch with friends and even family that lives far away from where you do. i use the internet on a daily basis so i really can't see the time when i wouldn't be using it at least a little in a given day. when the family would go on vacation even though where we would go has cable, which it didn't use to, it has no computers that we can use and i don't have a portable computer so that would be tough a whole week without it.

For now, maybe not. Internet makes my boring life busy. But then again, even if get busy with work or anything, I will still search for internet. It's one of the things I'm thankful for being alive in this generation. My life might get really booooring without the internet.

honestly, i cant live without internet... lol i dont have friends here to go out with, and to talk to. while i have many friends online. i blog, blog, blog. and i am now into earning cash online. so internet is very important to me. i try my best to pay the monthly bill even though we are facing hard times now. others consider it a leisure and not practical having internet at these hard times, but really, it's very important to me, those people just dont know internet has done so much for me.
