Looking for good books and ways to learn chemistry

Hey everyone I really want to become a chemist and I'm wondering if any of you know any good online courses or books that I could read to help me learn about chemistry? I want to be able to better humankind through this kind of science and it's just also a really neat subject to learn about. Any information or things you can share with me would be much appreciated. I really loved chemistry when i was a kid and always wanted stuff to blow up but dont have books on it:(

Well that's okay thanks for your response anyway I'm not sure I really want to do any blowing stuff up but chemistry can have it's benefits for all people.
