When do you clean your toys?

Right afterwards, the next day, before you use them? What if you haven't used them in a long time, will you spring clean them? What do you use to clean them?

I think it is a good idea to clean toys. I do not do it often enough for my girls but it seems they like to take their toys with them in their baths and clean them themselfs, I think that is a good idea you have there. Spring time does bring a lot of cleaning so thanks for reminding me. Take care and happy mylotting as well.

I always like to clean them right after using them myself and sometimes if they've not been played with in a while I'll give them a quick wash before using them..

I so want to reply to this but in truth I have never owned a toy. I have known women that do though, and they clean them thoroughly with sterilising fluid, the sort that you clean baby's bottles with immediately after and before internal use. Does that help?

I have house pets so I'm always looking at the toys. I clean the kids rooms once a week - sometimes more than that and if they need it, I clean them. Most of what I buy can be thrown in the washer. There are some that I use a tooth brush on or scrub brush and a light bleach water too, but for the most part they get thrown in the washer and then the dryer. I can wash stuffed animals, legos (but in those bags you wash nylons in) and my mega blocks. Note, mega blocks can be washed and then put in a dryer for 10 minutes and bam, they're clean. Otherwise most of the other activities my children have are puzzle, coloring and painting. We also bake a lot so we don't have a lot of toy, toys. If that makes sense.
