do you wash your hands more than you used to because of the swine flu? did you wash your hands a lot? does your doctor wash their hands? did you know you could actually ask your doctor and nurses if they have washed their hands recently? here in ontario, canada, nurses are required to wash their hands after seeing one patient and before they see the next one.

I wash my hands after I eat, after I go to the bathroom, after I eat anything sticky, and when I cough, have phlegm, sneeze, etc.. I cannot stand any dirt or sticky stuff on my hands so I am forever washing them. I would make a good nurse and it would not matter if there were swine flu or not. I think had people washed their hands then this swine flu would not have spread so quickly and much of the diseases of the world would not have spread so fast.
If one lives in a Third World Country, soap is non-existent, water is rare, and there are few brushes to wipe your hands on, they have an excuse, but if you live in the Western World with plenty of soap and water, you should wash your hands at least after going to the bathroom and before and after meals.

I am a big hand washer and always have been especially before handling food. I rarely get sick and think this is part of the reason why. Am now babysitting our youngest grandbaby 2-3 times a week and I wash my hands after changing each diaper and before handing her food and bottle. Then I wash my hands after petting the dog or fixing myself lunch. Am not obsessed with hand washing but think it's important.

well my specialists don't touch me so we don't come into contact. So I never ask them.

I wash my hands a lot throughout the day, though it has nothing to do with the swine flu epidemic. I'm pretty much a fanatic about washing my hands. I wash them so much they are pretty much dried out.
And if I were to wash them any more than I already do because of the swine flu scare my hands would probably fall off!

Hey cher! That is a good question! I have seen my doctor go
from one patient to the next without washing his hands and
his nurse too! And I am very surprised at him because he is
such a great doctor! I am going to see him this Thursday and
I am going to ask him if he washed his hands before he comes
near me and see what he says! Especially now with this swine
flu thing!
