Truly speaking I am really scared about this flu virus. Just I read in yahoo news that a Mexican toddler who had travelled to Texas died because of this flu virus. I am a mom of twin toddlers and they are going to school. Now a days I am very cautious and I am asking them to wash their hands every now and then..ARe you guys scared?

I'm not scared of it I'm a bit tired of hearing about it though, since it seems to be all they talk about in the news these days. I don't think I've heard one topic dominate the news so much since 9/11/2001. Geez!!! As long as people take care to stay out of danger, thing should be OK.

You are brave danishcanadian. My husband also said yesterday, it will be like a normal flu fever and if you don't have enough stamina and if you are ailing by some other disease, then u might get caught with this one. otherwise, there is no need to get scared. But I am scared anyways :)

I am nor scared, but very concerned. I think that we supposed to cancel all public events for a while. The main reason is to keep population healthy. When I hear about picnics and big events in May, I start thinking that we are not alert yet enough....

No. it is not any more deadly than other forms of flu. Wash your hands often, avoid sugar ( it supresses your immune system) and take normal precautions.
