I mean,English is the most popular language in the world although people speak Chinese are the most, about 15 to 20 percent of people all over the world speak Chinese, most of them are Asians.English is widely used almost all over the world, most schools claim the students to take English language lesson. there are some good aspects that people all over the world speak the same language,we could understand each other easily, business will be spread without the restriction of language proble and many many good deeds we could think out.meanwhile, the world will lost many things, the ancient culture and other important things so do you think it's possible ?

Haha,I really wish all the world can use only one language....though that possibility is near zero....In China, most people have high passion to learn English~~~As a Chinese,I know it's difficult to study such a Indo-European language,it's totally different with Chinese..but..cheer up~~~!

hi ktosea! i think it is impossible for one language to just overtake another. sure, there can be english which is most widely used. but God created the differences in languages. so i think it is already impossible. why would we want that anyway? we will lose our sense of identity. take care and happy mylotting! :D

In my opinion, it can not forever. Each country would like to remain its secret. although English is very popular now, but it just for the common point. what the counrty needs is also the distinguishes.

I think it's very difficult or even not forever. If it can be true,Do you think you and the brethrens can really discard your mother tone ? and each country has their own culture,it's not easy assimilation.

in my opinion,it is imposiblbe.because every country hsa its own culture, they would make meassures to protect it and make it last forever. we can set one or several languages as common language but we should keep its own culture and language.chinese is one of the most beautiful languages in the world,we can't let it disappeared.
