I used to make cards using silk screening. I enjoyed it so much! Sadly, life got in the way; you know, marriage, kids, job, just no time. I do miss it! I'd like to get back into it but I have so many other craft projects going on and, with all my health problems and doctor's appointments, I just never seem to have enough time for anything.
I do make our own return address stickers for special occasions, though, for when I send out Christmas cards or birthday cards.

Sounds lovely. I have never done silk screening or screen printing of any sort.

I do make tons of cards. I actually sell alot at my craft sales....I love stamping. How long have you been doing it? I do use die cuts once in a while...just got the nestibilities for the cuttlebug but haven't tried them yet....that's next on my list of things to do.

I have flirted with the idea of card making many times but I have just started actually doing it. I want a cuttlebug but not for cutting cause I have a cricut for that I want it for embossing.

I am always anxious to see what others make. I do not do anything but I love having all the tools to let others use to do stuff. At work this evening our Activities Director helped a client make a couple of beautiful Mother's Day cards out of wall paper and ribbon and line it with plain paper inside.

My latest creation is a poster in a locked glass case. Our agency has clients do this seasonally or whenever we can get to it. I have volunteered to take over the project. I share my tools with the clients to do this kind of thing. Cards on a giant scale.

I've made a few cards over the years but nothing like this, I love it. Last year I made a Mother's Day card for my 'Mom' - my ex-step-mother that raised me. I took a very old photo of myself when I was 3 that my birth mother had given me and put it on the front of the card then just did personal message inside.

I think the more personal a card is the better. Even if you don't make it yourself but it is a handcrafted card is better than storebought in my opinion. And if you take a storebought and gutsy it up that is better too.

Oh I agree personal and handmade are always the best - I used to go to church with an elderly lady and that was all she did was make cards she had them for all occasoins and then some I think, they were all beautiful and each one had a bible verse on the inside front cover that fit the occasion.

I make cards on occasion but only for personal use, not to sell. I create them on the computer and then either print them out or email them to friends. Just don't have the money to get craft supplies and be creative that way.

I am using the supplies that I had bought a long time ago when I went through the "I want to be a scrapbooker" phase. I didn't last long in that phase because I can't bring myself to do anything with an original photo and can't afford the ink to keep printing copies.

I didn't do so well. I am more suited for cards and tags and my other crafts than scrapbooking.

I see how creative people can be scrapbooking and wish I had the talent as well but I'm hopeless. My daughter wanted to do a scrapbook with me few years back and it was a disaster. lol
