How many times do you do dessert each week? I don't do it every night since it is extra sugar, butter etc. I made crepe last night and it was awesome...!! I think I'm gonna make it tonight again ;-) When I wnat to make dessert for dinner at some nights, I look up on the internet first so I can learn something new and I have my hubby to be the white mouse ;-D

Once in a blue moon, to be honest. Being pregnant makes it difficult as I'm constantly watching my weight gain - the last thing I want is to end up like a balloon. Before I was pregnant, dessert was at least once a month in the form of brownies, muffins or cakes - passionfruit or orange cheesecake is my favourite...not to mention tiramisu (I make mine without raw eggs). These days, dessert comes in the form of fresh or dried fruit OR cottage cheese with some cane sugar.

Yeah, gaining SOME weight is good but unlike my Malaysian counterparts, I don't plan on putting on like 10 to 20 kilos. Believe it or not, I know of many ladies who put on like 20 kilos in 9 months. It's crazy!!!! Well, being on a diet means I watch my sugar intake - I don't take anything with empty calories or refined sugar and even if I do, it's limited to once in a blue moon AND items I bake myself (which means less sugar and unrefined one at that). Natural sugar from fruits and such are healthier, so no worries about that. :)

It is normal to gain weight when you are pregnant, it is a good thing :-) You need to be careful of how much sweets you consume though, it won't be good for the baby if you don't keep an eye on it.

We have dessert about three nights a week. But I also include fruit cups and jello. This had less sugar. We have sweeter desserts like cake, pie etc about 2 times per month.

We rarely have dessert at home as, like you said, it is very unhealthy to have dessert so often as they are usually sweet. I don't really have that much of a sweet tooth either so I am happy to go without having dessert. When I am eating out, I may consider having dessert as a little treat but even then, that is usually just once in a while.

We have desert every now and then, sometimes i make a cake, or a pie..But most of the time if we want something to snack on in the evening we have a bowl of ice cream, or a milk shake.

I used to, years ago. It was when the children were little. Then they grew up and my hubby started with diabetes. From then on the desserts disappeared from my home. Now that I´m a widow, I only make desserts when there´s company. I much prefer salst food than sweet food now.

I don't make dessert every night either. I just don't have time to most nights. The odd night I may make a cobbler or an apple crisp or something simple. On weekends I sometimes make things that take more time like cakes, cheesecakes ect. I also look up quite a few recipes online. One really good recipe site is www.allrecipes.com , the recipes there are rated so it gives you an idea of what it will be like.

I'd say I probably only make dessert less than 10 times each year. One of my friends has dessert every single night. So she came over and I made dinner, we ate it, and then I'm all ready to go do something else and she asks, "What's for dessert?" I didn't even know people still did dessert. It sounds good, but I'm more of a dinner person and will stuff myself on dinner. But occasionally as a special treat I'll make something like lemon squares or a cherry pie. Or brownies, yum!

Hello mermaidivy, I don't do dessert after dinner except during weekends when I have more time to spend in the kitchen. I love to make it simple for the weekdays and whenever I want to prepare dessert, like you I will look at the recipe book first to find a quick and simple dessert.
