Where Can We Earn Money Writing Online

Hi guys, I am 31 years old, a housewife and unemployed. Recently, I've come across this wonderful myLot.com where it is said that we can write and earn money. So, I said to myself, 'Why not give it a try?'. So, here I am, starting off my first discussion. I'd like to discuss whether we can really...and I mean, really make money online? What about article writing? What (legit) websites or online company that pays to accept articles written by a freelancer? And how many of you out there that have succeeded in really making profit each month by writing online? (and I don't mean just a couple-of-dollars profit per month). To tell you the truth, I'd really love it if we can work at home, write and get paid. Don't you?

Try helium.com, also ciao.com or ciao.co.uk as they are good websites for reviews. Epinions.com is another great site. Associated content is good for exceptional writers though you must be in the U.S to write on that website. Send me a message and I can send you my referal link if you like.

The website eHow pays people (per page view) for how to articles. So if you have any of those, that might be a good site to try. I've known about the site for quite a while now but just recently have I joined. I haven't uploaded anything or not but it seems that they really do pay you. Unless you were able to get a lot of page views, I don't think what you'd make would be what you'd call more than just a few dollars a month. But I guess having as many articles on there as possible would help out a lot.

there are many ways to make money through the internet.. they seem easy but believe me, you really have to have dedication, persistence and hardwork for you to be successful in it. i believe mylot won't really compensate your time and effort in it, but this is a good program for those who wants to work part time. you can also earn money online through reviewing products and sites but you have limited days to finish an article. there are many pay-per-post sites out there such as sponsoredreviews.com .. try googling other sites who also uses the same program.. and by the way, i've heard from other mylot user that you can now make money through twitter.. i'm not really sure if that's true but i might as well check it out. :-)

Hi Neo, if you want to write and earn a lot, then you can consider writing articles and selling them at Constant-content. A short article of 400 to 600 words can sell for more than $100, but that would mean you give up full rights to the article. You are no longer the owner of the article and cannot claim authorship. The commission to Constant Content is 33%. Constant Content is very strict on grammar and spelling. Once your articles are rejected 3 times, they will terminate your account. But for those who are able to make money from Constant Content, they can easily make a few thousands a month.

Constant Content is one of my favorite places to sell online content. You can easily sell your articles for $50 or $100 each if you choose popular topics. If you write enough articles it's possible to make quite decent money each month. Of course the editors have the right to be strict about the level of quality. they want to be sure that if you're going to charge $100 - then it had better be worth that value for the client!

Other than Constant-Content, the other two similar sites are www.dailyarticle.com and www.topicwrite.com Both do not have such stringent requirements, but then, the writers do not charge so high. The average rate for a 500 articles are $25 to $30, some even charged as low as $5. Writers are free to quote the price, the commission to the webmaster is 20%.

MyLot honestly does not pay good money. Now, if you just love to chat, this is a good way to get paid pennies for it. But if you are looking to make decent money, you might want to look into DemandStudios.com. You can write revenue share articles and be paid for them for up to five years, AND they have a program that will pay you an extra $50 for every 10 you write. This makes it worth your time. Otherwise it really isn't. http://rainwaterfreelancing.blogspot.com http://rainwaterfreelancewriting.wordpress.com Please visit for suggestions on how to make money writing!

I average around $300, minimum, a month writing online. I only write for Associated Content, Text Broker and 1 private client. I don't have time to do more or else I would. As for the revenue share sites that I see some people have recommended... I write for Bukisa and eHow but with close to 30 articles there I've yet to earn more than a few dollars on either of them and haven't gotten paid. I know they'll pay me but they're really not worth my time. I'd rather have the money now, not months from now.

I have been on Mylot for a long time and I don't think you will make that much money here, but it is a good place to find out about other sites where you might! It is also a good place to read about scams and places one should stay away from! It is a relaxing place not only to read, but also to contribute with your experiences and to share your writings and pictures! Do enjoy your stay here!

Hi katkat, What do you usually write about? And have you find the perfect writing site that you can sell your work and earn a lot of money?

There is a way that people who write reviews, articles etc can help each other to earn money from what they write and I want to try a little experiment to see if it works. I have just set up a group on Facebook called Working Together To Earn Some Cash - if you want to join please request to join the group. I believe that, working together, we can all earn a few pennies!!

i like Associated Content, mainly because if they accept your article for upfront payment and you have selected auto confirm for your account they automatically pay the amount into your paypal. None of that crap of waiting until you reach a certain amount to transfer or any of that. I've been paid three times already by them and I just started writing articles last month.

Hi Ritchord, most writing sites accept international writers. If you want to make good money from writing, you can sign up for Constant Content. The best thing about Constant Content is that you write on whatever topic you wants, you price your article and you can decide to give away full rights to the article or just usage rights. Of course giving away full rights earn much more money for you. Imagine spending just half an hour writing, and selling the article for US$100, even after the commission of 33%, it is still a very sizable sum of money. Your grammar must be perfect to get acceptance into Constant Content. Otherwise you can try out dailyarticle.com and topicwrite.com Both are similar sites, the standard is less stringent and there are less buyers. Both sites require you to give up full rights to the articles, most of the buyers are using them as PLR articles for resale.

Writing is my hobby too. I have found "Review Stream" to be a nice place to write brief reviews on a variety of topics, things one comes across in the day-to-day activities, restaurants, hotels, movies, media, shopping, etc. I get paid for them too. If you like writing online, you might want to take a look at "Review Stream".

I currently write for ehow and associated content. I am sticking with those two sites for now so I can build up by articles on each site, since that is how you really make money. I am over $30 a month on ehow, that has been for the last few months. I have not reached pay out on AC yet, but I do see the potential to make some good money on there also. Good luck to you, if you have any questions about either of these site you can message me.

There are sites that offer jobs at home or to freelancers. Try sites like: Guru Odesk Elance If you are good over there, you can make some good money. They take commissions from you and it is not easy to get a job but you can make contacts for freelance work.
