Probiotic Ice Creams?

I have heard of pro biotics being added to packaged foods. Till now I knew only of yoghurt in India which had probiotics supposedly. But a couple of weeks back, I ate an ice cream (a Chocobar) which boasted of having probiotics added to it. Would you prefer such an ice cream over the others? And do you really believe in pro biotics being present in the icecreams? And do you really believe in their usefulness to us and our health?

Probiotics are good. But I am not sure if they work taking it in this form. And I wonder if they really give us probiotics when they say that a particular product has probiotics. I once was given probiotic capsules along with other antibiotics during a severe stomach upset. About probiotic in an icecream. Well I think its only a gimick. I wont purposely go and buy icecream which says probiotic added. But I wouldnt return one because of it either.

Maybe its only a gimick. Who knows. I agree though, I would buy it purposely just because it has probiotic.
