High tech company Google decided to approach it's California locale's fire prone weeds with an ultra green low tech, low cost, low tech solution. The company ditched it's gas hungry, fume polluting lawn mowers & weed whackers in favor for a heard of goats.

Goats are self propelled. They only need a Shepard to keep them from NOT eating certain things. Billy goats will eat anything green, and in my personal experience, they will eat anything period, having lost numerous articles of clothing to the little critters in petting zoos as a child.

What a great example for the rest of us. Unless of course you believe that animal poo contributes to the methane gas situation on the planet. I say we should all go for it. Keep critters that eat the weeds and fertilize the property and need no gasoline to run.

Yup! Consider this...the ocean is a big contributor for methane. There are more volcanoes under the ocean than on the land. Some of them have smokers going 24/7 with whole colonies of critters living on them.
