How do you normally spend your weekends? especially Sundays?

Hi Friends, I know that most people wait enthusiastically for the weekends . Everybody has different ways of spending their weekends. Some plan on meeting friends, entertaining,or go out touring and do so many other action packed activities. Then there are some who catch up on lost sleep, sleeping all through the weekend or have a quiet weekend generally relaxing at home and spending time with their family and close friends.I am sure the younger crowds love to visit pubs and discos and generally have a happy time and spend the after hours recovering, sleeping whatever lol.. I personally prefer to have a mix of both, have some activity planned for Saturday afternoons and night and relax on Sunday with my family and my sister's family, lunch and a film...Sometimes i feel like being alone, all by myself reading, listening to music, browse the net like i am doing now and sleep when i feel like! - just fantasising, since i never get the luxury of being alone with myself! What would your weekends be like friends? Is it fun filled activities or do you prefer being with just your family or if you are single and living alone just being with yourself? please do share your weekend activities with all of us here

Generally for me weekends are a kind of recharge time. I have all the time to do what I usually can't do during weekdays. Most of it is taken up by sleep, considering I don't sleep much the rest of the week. The rest is spent on the computer, watching TV, reading a book, or drawing. Occasionally I might hang out with friends but that's rare on the weekend. But sometimes I get to deep in the activities of the weekend I forget about important things for the week ahead like homework.

Hi, Thanks a lot for your response, I think most people prefer to sleep during weekends and generally take it easy..Forgetting about home work can put you in a spot right?, but it has happened with me when i have been enjoying my weekend so much that I have forgotten all that is there pending for the coming week

I agree on the sleep part and recharge time. Basically, that's what I do on weekends if I don't have anything planned. If something's planned on a weekend, it is usually a beach trip: it could be just for the day or it could be two days. My friends and I are beach addicts :)

As a general rule we go to Sunday School, Sunday morning service, and then Sunday night service, other than church we really don't do a lot. Sometimes we also go to the nursing home for Sunday afternoon church. We have a pretty relaxing day on Sunday's. The rest of the week it is mostly cleaning, and more cleaning, I'll be glad when I am caught up with my cleaning.

My three year daughter and i spend our saturdays at my parents house... that way she can get to play with her cousin who is 6 years old... she love spending the whole day there... and i get to just lay in the couch watching tv while they run around and play with toys... During sundays... we go to the mall to eat lunch and just walk around... after a few hours... we go back to the apartment where she would take her afternoon nap... while i do some chores...

Hi desiree, thanks a lot for responding .May be you should try to finish a little of the chores each day, so that you get to spend more time with your daughter having some happy moments, but it happens to all of us sometime or the other when Sundays become the most busy and exhausting day, as long it happens once in a while it's o;k...all the best to you

Every weekend is different for us. Sometimes we run errands such as grocery shopping and just doing things that we need to do. Sometimes we go visit with family that live in another city (but that isn't too far away). Sometimes we go visit with family that live here near us. Sometimes we hang out with friends and maybe go to dinner with them or have them over here and we play SingStar or rockband on the playstation or sometimes just watch a movie with them. Sometimes we just spend the weekend here at home hanging out with each other as a family. We might do yard work, might clean the house, might take our son to the park or just to play outside. So each weekend is totally different for us. We haven't been to church in a while and I plan to start going back this weekend because we really need to get back in church and I want my son to be in church too.

Hello kiran8, I love spending time with my family. If we don't go out for sight seeing, the three of us will stay at home and doing stuff together. My husband and I never missed to watch movies on Saturday night. Well, we just have to watch them at home as my son is just 2 1/2 years old! We will watch few movies a night and sometimes we are wide awake till the wee hours. We also choose weekends to dine out once a while as during weekdays, both of us are busy with work. I like to cook for my family and weekends are the best time to try new recipes. We choose to go out when it is not too crowded like when it is early or end of the month where people tend to go shopping and sight seeing.

I usually spend my Saturdays doing my homework, working with friends to finish not (NOT cheating) and when we finish we play a couple games online together. Sunday is my day to relax, I sleep as long as I want and then play games for the rest of the day.

To be honest the weekends is when I catch up on work, I'm s stay at home and work at home mom, and I find that the weekends is when I get to do my work. Things are just a little bit more laid back on the weekends, to make working from home more possible.

Well, the sad state of affairs is that I work 2 jobs, and my weekends are full with them! I work days and nights, then I am off usually Mon, Tue and Wed at the day job, and I try to get at least ONE of those nights off so I can rest up. But this summer will be hard to get even that, and I will very likely be working 7 days a week sometimes. But the upside to this is that I have dropped a pants size in a little over a month lol yay me

Saturday is typically our shopping day to get all our groceries for the upcoming week. Sunday is our recharge day, which we spend at the beach. There is nothing better than ending the week relaxing on a sandy beach, enjoying the sun, and catching some waves.

Weekends for me is time for rest so mostly you will find me sleeping. I always wake up late and had my breakfast late then lunch , then taking a bath, watching tv or listening to music, sleeping again, when I wake up , eating. Reading books and again tv. I don't go with my friends, it is very rare. But during UAAP Season (college basketball season) you will find me watching live games, so obviously I am out during weekends. I like to spend my time with my family during weekends, and watch all missed shows in cable channels and its the time for relaxation for me.

Most weekend I spend the morning on my computer answering e-mails and visiting site like mylot etc. I rarely go out anywhere except for an odd occasion in the summer as I like to stay at home enjoying just mulling around and enjoying my garden and watch some TV in the evening. - Derek

My weekends are just like my week. Kids and family always. I never have get to be alone either. So I take 5 minutes here and there to recoop and try not to be to overly grouchy. This past weekend I actually did a little shopping with my neighbor. Picked up a couple shirts for myself. It felt pretty good to go some where.
