Unless you have a very good phone with a very good camera attached to it, then i guess there's no need to buy a separate camera. If you're very particular with photo quality, then i guess you should buy a separate camera because the phone's camera cannot be compared to a real camera in terms of quality in photos. Very few cameraphones have the capacity to shoot photos with the same quality as that of a real camera. I suggest you go buy a new camera.

So far the best option is Sony when it comes to digital cameras. While for SLR cameras, my cousin recommends Canon.

Well I have a camera on my phone but it does not take the best pictures, I plan on buying another camera here soon. I know that it seems the cell phone is turning into a great little device but it seems it is not the best at quailty. In the end the choice is up to you really, take care and happy mylotting as well.

If you have the budget for it, then go. A real camera is better in most cases than cellphone camera. I personally would want to have both a great cellphone and a good digital camera. I might even think about having an SLR camera and learn professional photography. But those are only dreams because I don't have the money right now.

As for me. it's not enough to have a cellphone that has a camera. They quality still matters. So, if I have enough money I'd buy a good slr-digital camera. Seldom to I use my cellphone's camera because I'm not satisfied with it.

I think camera is still different from a phone camera. The phone camera is so limited and some its feature cannot empower the power of camera. Just like me, i am really a photo freak and my friends even call me as vain. I love taking pictures and it is really captured better using the camera. I suggest you buy those, professional cameras. Or maybe a cybershot would do.

well, it all depends how much money you wanna spend. you need to spend more to have better picture quality in mobile camera whereas digital cameras are now cheap and produce very good quality of pictures as well as videos. so it all depends upon you. the other thing if you buy a low price mobile having in-built camera then it could be easy to carry but the picture quality will not be that good....

It depends on what is the quality of pictures you are looking at. Nowadays, cameras on cell phone has as high as 8.0 mega pixels. I think it is good enough for some normal snappings, the pictures are rather clear and sharp. But then, if you need to take really high quality pictures, a camera definitely works better. You can get cameras with much higher in mega pixels, depending on the level of your need and balancing the amount you budgeted for the camera.

I have both of them. It's better to take pics using camera. In my opinion, no matter how sophisticated a mobile phone's camera, people still call it a mobile phone not a camera. If you hoping a best result from photographing, then you need to buy a camera. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

If you love to take pictures and you're fun of it, then why not have a camera? For me its different from a cellphone camera. Cellphone are very limited when you often go out and have your activities being pictured. Me, Im planning to have an SLR camera. But I need to save to have one.

Yep, you should. Digital cameras has a greater mega pixels w/c means a more nicer photo compared from a camera phone's cam.I'm kinda saving now to buy a new digicam.:)
