Do you ever have a long distance love? Do you think long distance love is managable? i mean is distance really a challenge for both of the person in love? I personally do not yet have a relationship before (still single, haha), but i was wondering if it will be ok to have another half far away from me. Let's share your experience or opinions here. :)

yeah.It is good to have someone far away caring and loving. But I think practically if you want to make couple, there is so many problems for the people living apart.

Hm...agree that distance will be a problem, but if the two person's relationship are strong enough, and are really holding each other tightly enough, i'm sure they'll make it through. :)

One must have a lot of patience to endure a long-distance relationship. Sure, it is nice to have someone thinking of you from another side of the planet, but it's just so sad that you cannot hug that person... it's sad that you cannot give that person a big kiss when you want to... Personally, long distance relationships aren't my thing. My dad's left my mom, my brother, and I. This may be the reason why long distance relationships won't work for me. I don't like the feeling of being left somewhere. It's one of the worst feelings.

i have a long distance love before...for me...long distance is not a obstacle...the main obstacle will be ...are the couple in love really love and respect each other so much?If the answer is ''yes'', definitely there will not be a problem...although there are a lot of dangerous factors which will harm the relationship due to the long distance...but if two heart really stick together...no matter what problem also will not be a obstacle for them...Anyway hope that you will meet your ''ideal patner'' 1 day

Hm..i see. Ya, very agree with you that the 'hearts' are the most immportant. Both parties have to play their parts and keep the commitment. This is the only way that long distance love can survive through time and distance.

I've been in a long distance relationship before. No doubt it was very hard, especially with the time difference. i have no idea how i survived that, but i did. drove me nuts at times and made me cry too. but there are many means to keep in touch; telephone, email, IMs, digi cam..etc. i missed him a lot, every single second and wish i could see him or for him to be physically there with me, whenever i was sad or happy. you need to have a solid trust, as you're not able to see what your other half is doing. And you need to have lots of faith, enough to not make you give up on your relationship. but i believe, in the end, love is what that holds you together. if two people really love each other, no matter how far they apart they are, they'll be able to go thru the relationship. love knows no boundaries

I don't have a long distance relationship. My boyfriend and I work in the same city and it's quite convenient because we get to spend a lot of time together. What I like about this is that since I go home to the province at least one a week, he often comes with me for a visit :D Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Wow, it's really glad to know that. However, take it as a challenge and as time goes on, you'll appreciate this relationship more. I'm sure you two can make it through. Good luck :)
