I prefer calling, as I never do text anyone. My family is right here in the same town, so we are all on the same neteork, so it works out better for me to just pick up the phone and call them. The cellphone I have does not the the keyboard, so for me to text on it, I would have to hit the same key a number of timse to get the letter I want, and it would just take to long. If a person is going to text a lot than, it is advantageous to have a keyboard on the phone. I never have texed, and I probably never will.

I'm like you -- I prefer calling, but my reason is that I have had enough of people who tell me that they never got my text messages, which I think is BS, especially when I know that they're only trying to make an excuse. Calling gets my message across.. And it solves my problem. People can't deny it.

I prefer texting as it's way cheaper than making phone calls.. here in our country, you can avail the unlimited text message feature for one day.. you just need to type in the keyword and send it to your network's unlimited text number.. but if it's something really important, i prefer calling people to tell my message right away.. good thing, i have got a pldt landline sim that i can use to call my family and some friends..

i'd prefer to call rather than text. i think i'm much better at dialling the number compared to composing a text. -lol- seriously though, i'm subscribed to a cellphone network with unlimited calls and texts to the same network. and everybody in the family, shares the same network so that even my 4 yr old can speed dial his parents or anyone he wishes to talk to in the family. so calling is more preferred and much more convenient to do. although it is a bit expensive to call other networks, i try to strike a balance with the texting and calling. if urgent, i'd call. if not, i'd text. :)

yes it's a pretty good offer. it may not be the largest network and the trendiest in my country, but hey, it definitely connects everyone in my family and that is most important. added to that, it's the least expensive service if i compare prices of other networks.

Texting. Because it doesn't really disturb your work. I can be studying and texting at the same time. I can be doing many things and texting but it doesn't disturb my other work. Calls always disturb the work and I have to concentrate on the phone because if I start thinking about something else, I lose my concentration here. bourne

Years ago, when I had my first or second cellphone, I loved texting my family and friends. I was able to send around a hundred texts per day. Now that the novelty of having a cellphone has worn off for me, I don't feel like texting anymore. Maybe it is also because I am getting lazy in texting. I now prefer calling up people in my cellphone rather than typing messages to them.

It depends on the situation. Like if I"m calling my family from out of town I prefer to just text them a simple message and e-mail them. I cannot afford landline long distance nor the minutes on my cell phone. So really unless I need to know the answer I don't call, I wait til I get home and pay my .06/call and I can talk as long as I want.

i like texting better than calling because texting here in my country can be free by registering to their unlimited texting for certain days depending on the amount to same networks. but of course when i am in an emergency state then no choice but to call the person right away..

I can make use of my cellphone texting, the most when my children are not yet home at night. Should they don't text me there whereabouts or reasons for their delay in going home, I surely do the texting or should I got more load, I will make a call. For instance, my daughter is away for two weeks, having a seminar, I make use of my cell most by texting her in the morning and at night before going to bed. I just can realize the importance of cellphones. Though we chat whenever she gets on line in the evening, still I check her if she's okey thru the cellphone. Unless necessary I am not used of calling thru cell. I have a brother, however who preferred calling than texting. He don't mind the load what's important according to him he can talk and getan answer to the person the soonest.

It depends on who we're texting to. I'll feel weird texting mom and dad when i want to discuss something. On the other hand, i cant stop texting my sis everyday. Most of the time i prefer texting since it saves money and formalities. However calling is an essential thing in our day to day life which we can't get rid of

I only call those people whom i can talk so well and can get along very much. I don't intend to call if it is not needed at all. So, if asked about the two, i prefer to text. I am much comfortable talking to others through text, since it seems that you can mingle with them without any consciousness in your manner. You can also feel the vibrant while texting.

I prefer texting since I'm bad at calling, mostly I just don't know what to say. And a lot of my friends just don't pick up the phone if you call them they only reply to text messages. But the downside of texting is that it can never be anonymous as your phone number is always displayed whilst you can always prank someone by calling with anonymous settings. :)

In my opinion texting is useless and a waste of time, I think it is more polite to just call the person instead of sending them something to read, I mean besides the person may be in the middle of something ,then they have to stop what they are doing to read what you have to say to them. I'm all for CALLING!

Well, I don't really use my cellphone that much. Most of the time I go to places where I want to talk to the person cause I want to talk with them personally if it's very urgent but if it's not really important, I just give them a text but not a call. Because it's too expensive here hehehe.

I prefer texting,I enjoy texting compared to calling.Texting is much fun and enjoyable.I can also think well and express myself because I can have much time to think.I am also used in texting so maybe thats why.My friends loves to text too, they dragged me to texting.Majority of the population in our country loves texting, the one reason of it is its much affordable.Anyone can afford buying load for texting. There's unlimited texting available, which doesnt cost much,.

When i have my cellphone with me, i just prefer texting to express ideas and exchanging thoughts, quotes with each other, the second one you can send message whenever you start only with one peso, it is the cheapest way to connect to other people.
