The UK released a list of people no longer allowed in to their country for promoting extremism and hate. On the list is conversative talk show host Michael Savage.Along with a few Muslim extremists and Russian mobster and an Israeli settler. If you want to see the whole list you can go here http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090505/ap_on_re_eu/eu_britain_not_welcome;_ylt=AuuiXDNdi3YUaUCTdjBKCrqyFz4D What do you think of England deciding they are not going to allow certain people in because they do not agree with that they think or say?

I was at least glad to see that sick bastarrd Fred Phelps of the Westboro baptist church was also banned, we should ban him from this country too). But anyway, Savage is pretty of the edge a lot of the time, I don't know that he warrents a ban from a country, but it's their country, they can let in or keep out who ever they want I guess.

England is a little off the wall right now. They have so many muslims in their country and they have a number in parliment that they have to appease them. It seems that their choices of who to bann is all over the place and the comment about the autistic child was just cruel. But that is what it is coming to. Soon these children and others will once again be taken from their parents and locked up for everyones "own good and safety"! I am not just talking about the UK it will happen here too because we do not seem to have the willpower to stop it. We will let the Congress and Executive Office cram anything down our throats that they want to. Shalom~Adoniah

I didn't say he should be banned for it. Ijust said it was a cruel remark. England will be one of the first countries in the Western world to take autistic children from their parents and institutionalize them. We will be the next. We are becoming heartless, thinking of the almighty "dollar" first and human rights last. Shalom

his comment about the autistic children was cruel. But enough to get him banned from an entire country? I bet his rating will go up now. people will listen just to see what the big deal is. He should probly thank england for putting him on the list.

Another of those short-term knee-jerk reactions that most nations are taking nowadays to brush the real issues under the carpet and placating a handful of people at a time. Extremely immature to say the least as these people could reach out and communicate with their target group whenever and wherever and however they choose to…they don’t need to set their foot on the soil of England to do so and of course the ban has increased their aura and attraction ten times over to garner more curiosity about them and the more people want to know about them and revere them for being bold enough to be anti-establishment, the more their number of supporters and admirers will grow.

Michael Savage is very controversial and I'm sure he's going to have a lot of fun over being banned from an entire country. I listen to him if I happen to be in my truck when he's on, just like I listen to a lot of talk radio...both conservative and the ever shrinking liberal side...because there are nuggets of information and truths on both sides.

true you have to listen to both sides to usually find out where the truth is. It is usually somewhere in the middle of the two.

I think it is funny, I don't agree with anything that Michael Savage has to say. But, I don't think that he should be banned from an entire country. I have no idea what you have to do to be banned from the UK, but aparently Micheal did it. I can think of alot of other people that I wouldn't want in my country, but Savage wouldn't be one of them.

I guess they feel he spread intolerance. I personally do not listen to him that much to know. But I do think it is strange to ban someone because you do not like something they said. So much for tolerance.

Come on, UK if you ban these religious and racist extremists from entering into your country, then how large number of Brit. followers going to learn of the hate messages and hug their role modal? We had learn enough of these extremists in our own country, you should at least spare us some of these scums by letting them in for a while.

When visiting the US (I'm Not intentionally singling the US out here-Other countries have a list of undesirables they don't want crossing their borders...It's just the most recent and only country whose immigration policy I've had experience with..) The Immigration card I complete before landing asks a number of questions as to my Criminal record,Illegal organisations I may have been involved with,Have I ever been refused entry before, and have I had any Involvement in War Crimes..I'm not thinking while reading those options that if I answered "Yes" to any of them or others on the list that It'll get me a free Limo to my intended destination! Some People make themselves unwelcome in certain places or countries..the list changes periodically..I hadn't heard of Savage before this article..had the guy ever made any attempt to travel to the UK up to this point to push his controversial views? Does He have such an Anti-Islamic Agenda that He's likely to try and spread it Personally? Have Islamics in the UK as a group expressed any concern about such a visit to precipitate a ban? Worldwide communications are so accessible with satellite and Internet,I doubt if banning the Guy entry to the Country will prevent him spreading his Message..any controversy caused by him being put on a Banned list is only free publicity for him,his views, and those who'd support him!

And they are one of the countries that say that others are wrong. If they cannot tolerate what others view points are, how do they expect to live with others. England is a part of the world and it should have enough sense to see that taking such steps will only induce hate and tension between others and won't help anyone. bourne

Hi lilwonders....I am not usually out and about during Savage's radio show but I was last night and caught the same piece of information you're sharing with us. Thank you, by the way. This was one of those moments where I just shook my head because I know - and I think you know too - that the political correctness of the UK will make it a dictatorship in no time. Freedom at all will be a memory. Michael Savage, as far as I know, is not a threat to anyone. He is a radio talk show host and a writer. He has never hurt anyone or threated to do so. So what is the reason for banning him from the country? I can't think of a good one?

I don't blame them for putting certain people on a list to not enter the country, bravo for UK. If USA was more like the UK, then the Twin Towers would not had planes crash into them. The USA is the most easy country for criminals & not honest citizens. I love America but I just don't understand the government.
