Do you think Danny's scream will be held against him?

I think Danny did pretty well with his song last night, up until the scream. The scream sounded like Godzilla attacking the city last night, but the rest of the song was good. Do you think that scream will send him packing? I don't hold it against him, do you?

I think Danny did a GREAT job last night!!!! He hit a horrid note with perfection. Listen to the original of Dream On, it doesn't sound any better. Admittedly he went a little over the top, but he did it on key!!! I don't think it should be held against him. Even with his high note, he did much better than Kris & Allison!!!

I was sure that scream was the end of Danny. Personally, I think Michael Johns did it better last year and he lost out because of it so I didn't think Danny was going to fair well. I know Ryan said he was announcing the top 3 in random order but I'm sure that this was Danny's first time in the bottom 2. I rarely agree with Simon's analogies but I thought "horror movie" was spot on. Godzilla's pretty close too. Someone else mentioned the original. Yes, Steven Tyler screams. No, Steven Tyler doesn't sound any less like bad feedback. But that scream is his signature. Attempting it without the confidence to know, not think but KNOW, that you can do it flawlessly usually results in something that sounds like an amateur copy that falls a few yards short of the goal. I have often thought about auditioning and about what songs I'd prepare if I ever did and one I've thought of is The Hunger by the Distillers but it would be a last choice because I know I can't scream like Brody and if I tried I'd sound ridiculous. I'd become an example of what not to do. Knowing one's own limits is very important in a situation like this. I applaud his bravery but ....A for effort, D for execution.

Considering he has done great up to this point I don't hold it against him. He was in a niche that he really isn't comfortable with. Kind of like Adam slaughtering country music night. I am glad Danny made it through and I am rooting for him to win American Idol.

I think he could be in trouble tonight, but at this stage of the game any body could be in trouble. Adam was obviously awesome last night so I think he is safe, but then again I didn't expect him to be in the bottom 3 last week and he was. But I definately think that scream could have hurt him, but that would be a shame because up until that point he was doing pretty good.

I don't hold it against him, but I bet a lot of people will. lol - that is a good description of what it sounded like. I think some people will really be annoyed by his scream and will send him packing. I guess we are much more forgiving!

He did great up until the scream. I was so sad to hear that he chose that particular Aerosmith song. That's a big song to choose when your music range is mostly soft rock.

He might be in the bottom tonight and i really hope he isn't because he has been my favorite from the beginning and i really like his voice. He did really good up until now and that screaming was just not him at all and was not good but at least he came out and tried it and did his best. I applaud him for trying his hardest in a genre that he isn't to comfortable doing. I really liked the duet with him and kris that as actually really good i thought.
