Our technology is going advance over the ten years. Computers always replace everything, even letters. I am not mean the advertising letters, or commercial letters. I am talking about the personal letters. Someone you write to a lot. We go with the flow. We use email more often; online chat or even voice over image. Correspondence with letters is already obsolete. Even long distance over the phone is cheaper than ever.

There is only 1 person I regularly send letters to. My great aunt does not have a computer or the internet. I doubt she ever will! We write back and forth. It is really nice to keep in contact with her. I also love getting the letters in the mail! There is definitely something about getting mail that is special. Especially when it is something that someone had to take the time to think about you for!
Since I like getting mail so much, I try to remember that other people do too. I will randomly send some of my friends 'thinking of you' cards or just a note to say hi. They always love it!

I used to write a lot of letters. When I was younger I had many penfriends from around the world and we often sent handwritten letters to eachother. I hardly ever write snail mail letters anymore, and I have started writing emails instead, because it is so much easier and faster. I only write snail mail letters when I am writing to someone who doesn't have access to a computer or someone who doesn't want to write and receive emails. But I send oldfashioned cards sometimes, because prefer to send cards that I have created myself instead of ecards.

I don't write letters, however I always send cards and inside the card I always write alittle note or enclose a small letter. There is nothing better then getting something in the mail. It is so easy now a days to jump on the computer and send a quick letter, but knowing that the person took the time to pick out that card can mean so much.
