I got this information off the news, it is called a Cereal Diet. You eat it twice a day, I am going to try it, to see if it works I think it will work. I will let you know how it works. I notice that you will get full off Cereal. What do you think about this? I think it is a good Idea.

I have heard of the Special K diet but never have heard of the Cereal Diet. In fact, I have been on the Special K diet on and off since the end of January. You eat like 2 bowls of cereal twice a day or you can substitute their bars for it instead.

How much weight did you lose? Yes i have heard that too, about the Special K. I thought about that when I seen it on the News.

I have lost about 17 lbs since the end of January. I went off of it for 2-3 weeks ago but now I am back on it again.

Well I haven't started yet but i will soon, I am moving right now so when I get done moving I will start this Cereal Diet. Have a good week! I hope all is well!

It's my first time to hear a cereal diet but
I already heard oatmeal diet before. It is also
a good idea to eat cereal but we need to add some
fruits and vegetables to supplement some of the vitamins
and minerals that our body needs that cereals don't provide.
It may be good temporarily but not long term. I have an herbal
food supplement that could help you weight safely, still
providing you all the nutrients that your body needs without
depriving much of yourself of foods.

I like rolled oats porridge along with nuts, and berries, and that filled me up. I sometimes would add soy milk, but I to do that when I was making the porridge because for some reason, I cannot have soy milk straight. It is the same with cooking, if it is mixed in the batter, that is soy flour it is all right but for some reason I cannot tolerate soy that much. If cereal is a high fiber you will not get hungry so in a sense you will not be reaching for that slice or two of bread. I do hope you also include some fruits, veggies, and salads along with it.

I can see how cereal would help you loose weight, the thing is there are nutrients that you need that cereal and milk do not provide, did they say how to supplement those?
Also after you loose the weight and go back to regular meals will the weight come back? I hope it doesn't but it would be a concern since you are changing what your eating and then probably go back to that.

I agree with you. The Cereal Diet MAY help one lose weight, but it does not guarantee that the person gets the nutrients that he or she should be getting. I think I'm familiar with the brand that is promoting this diet. I wouldn't reco the Cereal Diet for nutrition reasons. For me, it would still be best to exercise regularly and to eat healthy.

It is definitely possible to lose some weight in 1 week. The question is what kind of results are you trying to achieve?
To lose fat in a healthy way, you should lose more than 2 pounds per week. There are some doctors who recommend trying to lose between 0.5 and 1 pounds each week, but no more. Losing fat in this way will help you keep it off in the long run.
There are other ways to affect your weight over the course of a week. The amount of water in your body can greatly affect the number on the scale! Being dehydrated can make you lose several pounds. But as soon as you drink water again, you will be right back to where you started!
While cereal can be good for you, dont forget to eat a balanced diet. Eating well and exercising really is the best way to rid yourself of fat!

They are always going on about them here in the UK and I guess that if that is all you eat then sure you're gonna lose weight but boy are you going to be hungry! I know that when I eat cereal I usually hungry again about an hour later!! I hope it works for you though!

That one is a good one they call it the special K diet in England but you must only do it for two weeks at a time.Making sure you have a balanced meal once a day.I did it and went down a jean size but you have to excercise as well. Good luck with it.

Oh yes let me know how it goes,I am willing to try different things and I love to eat cereal as long as you approach it in a healthy way I say go for it.With the summer coming I need to trim off a bit of extra baggage I required.Good luck with it and keep me posted.Thanks:)
