I only do sites that use and pay with PayPal. It has been a good choice for me. It is like getting an extra paycheck every now and then.

My paypal earns interest, although it is only a tiny bit right now. I have not been hacked ever. I have had some unauthorized withdrawals that pretended that one time authorized charges represented a contract. I like to leave the money in PayPal because then I do not spend it, and neither does my husband. I would like to have a PayPal debit card, but I do not at this time.

I used to immediately move my money into my bank account when it came in my PayPal account. Because I always shopped with my debit card. But now I've started using PayPal to pay for things online because I've found it's a lot easier than entering in a credit card number! So now if I get small amounts like $10 here, $20 there I just leave that in my PayPal account. Then I use that money for buying stuff online. And if it's not enough for what I'm paying for, then the rest of the money comes right out of my bank account since I have that tied to my PayPal account. But when I get large payments like over $100 (or even over $50) then I transfer that money to my bank account. And I don't pay for anything online with AlertPay, so I always immediately transfer that money to my bank account.

I usually keep small amounts in my Paypal account just in case, but generally I don't keep amounts over ten or twenty dollars at a time. It's usually only one or two dollars, so I won't go crazy if I happen to get hacked. For me, it's tiring to always withdraw small amounts, so I wait until I get at least about five dollars, then I eventually withdraw it into a banking account or I spend it.

I get them in my abank account as soon as I have an amount big enough to pay no fees for the withdrawal. I think that's the best,so you can have money in your bank account and use it easier than when they are in the PayPal account. That's pretty scary to know that a hacker can get your hard earned money from any bank account.Like my friend, they stole the pin number of her card and keft her with an empty account. And that's from a regular bank account I'm talking about, not a PayPal.
