who is more SHOP-A-HOLIC? Men or Women?

It's a given.most of the time, a shopaholic is a woman.a shopaholic woman look around the mall for choices.rather than sticking to one choice,they will still look around for something better.

I assume women are more shopaholic. there are guys however who like to go shopping but i guess they are just some of the few.

hi bhabytart! i guess it is still have to be women who tends to become more shop a holic. since in our nature women likes to dress to impress right? by simply choosing clothing that we think bests for ourselves things like that. for men as what i have observed, they only buy clothes and shoes when there are special gatherings to go to to dress to impress themselves. some men can be vain but majority are not..

I think women are more shopaholic. They just like to shop and shop and shop. I have this experience with my mother and sister. Whenever we go out shopping, they just go round and round the market seeing everything in each shop and then they come back and select the thing which they liked in the first shop itself. bourne

With shopping I mean clothes, and fancy stuffs in the department store, so with what I have observed, women tend to shop more than men although there are shops that are more frequented by males. So my answer is mostly women, and well, the "not-so-men" too, maybe? Just saying.....

Of course it's women. A woman's favorite pass time is to shop for stuff. It's like common nature.

Women, Women and only women. If I would be asked to go and have some thing from mall, I would just go there and buy only things, which are necessary but if my mom or sister would go, they would buy everything which they like. So, who is more Shop-A-Holic!

I think that women are more shopp-a-holic than men, because they buy things that they need and also things that they don't need, they like to spend money on unnecessary things, they just like go out shopping. Men knows what they want - they just buy things that they need.

haha,I think most of lotters'answer is women.In the mall,shop or supermarket,the number of women is usually larger than the men's.Little man enjoy shopping ,shopping is a boring thing for them.

Men are programmed differently to women when it comes to shopping. For women, there is as much pleasure in looking as in buying. We will try on 15 dresses, then go back and buy the first one. Or we'll go in 20 shops to get the best price for something we want to buy. When grocery shopping, we'll use coupons or go for the best deals. We love spending money, but we also love saving it. Yes, I know it's illogical, but it's the way it works! Men tend to be blinkered when shopping. They know what they want, and they'll buy it in the first shop that has it, regardless of the price. I hate shopping with my husband. He'll spend an hour looking around a DIY store while I twiddle my thumbs, but he thinks that after 10 minutes in a dress shop I've looked at and tried on the entire stock, bless him!

I'm a girl and I must say that WOMEN rule the shopping world!Try to see the malls and the department stores, woman crowds out like 80% of the people either choosing a dress, fitting a blouse, paying at the counters, talking with the nearest saleslady, comparing the price,etc,.You wouldn't find guys who'll do those things right? or maybe some guys would but majority isn't. Shopping becomes an addiction when you can no longer control the money when you're at a shopping place. It a bad thing though but I guess it's been in every girl's nature to shop til you drop.:P. Men thinks very differently than women, they focus on one thing and most of those things are really expensive, they shop like branded clothes, CARS, Gaming consoles, and those things that boys find interesting for their lives. It's really pretty obvious that woman are the real shop-a-holics. Conduct a survey and it's pretty predictable that woman floods out those shopping bazaars and places.

Women are more of the shopaholic type. She will buy lots of things that are unnecessary. But in my case, She is more of the shopaholic type but what she buys costs only around half the price of what I am going to buy in a single equipment/tool/thing. Ha ha!

Aww. Come on this is really one-sided because women, who wear make-up and all that junk need to go the mall and test those stuff and if they don't like it they have to go through like thousands more so I am saying women are more of a shop-a-holic than men are.

I believe most men do not like shopping. They go straight to the counter for what they need and rarely compare the prices. Going shopping with man is never a success. I prefer shopping by myself, sometimes just looking to know what new products, what price level, to have some idea for future possible purchases. But most shopping centers are crowded, I feel physically not capable of shopping more and more. Still I miss the time when I found a lot fun shopping.
