How to earn more money on Mylot.

Here's some stuff I found out about Mylot. Some of this info is just plain
plain trivia and other things actually help me earn money on Mylot.
These are not the rules; these ideas are not interpretations of the rules; just
random stuff I know about Mylot. It might work for you. It might not.
1.No matter how many or few responses you receive on your discussion, the day you post it is the only day you will earn, assuming you get at least one response. If you don't get at least one response on the day you post a discussion, then the first time you get a response to that discussion is the 'day' that you earn.
2. When you post discussions, you can go back
every day and comment on your own discussion and earn money
just for doing so. I think the limit to pay is once per day
for each discussion you've started. Some days I do nothing but answer old discussions and still earn good money.
So hypothetically, if you have started 200 discussions, you could
go back and comment on each one every day and still earn money.
3. Awarding a best response on the first day you post a discussion
helps with your earnings. That is assuming you got any responses.
That's been the case for me. If you have found it to be different for you,
then that's fine.
Everyone's Mylot experience is bound to be different
based on a variety of factors. Some Mylot members have disagreed with me on this point before. But in my experience I have found that earnings increase by at least 20% on days that I reward a best response.

I've noticed that posting relevant pictures along with your response or when you start a discussion will attract more people to respond and will increase your earnings aswell merely because you have posted a picture. I tried it one day and only replied to responses to which I had a relevant picture at a ready. My earnings were much higher than usual even though I had made less responses.

I'm going to try that idea out.
I have been wondering if I should upload more pics.
Last month I uploaded a few pics and noticed a spike in
earnings the next day. I did not know why, could have been
the pics.
Will check that out.

These are interesting tips. Some of them of course I have known as I have been a member here myself for over 2 1/2 yrs. but hopefully these are some Tips all of us can learn from. All I can add is most people need to remember when starting a New discussion or posting back in a discussion, is quality is the key. If you can try and post back with at least 4-5 lines in length you're sure to get better results the next day in earnings for sure.

Your earning on MyLot is not limited to the first day you start a discussion. It may not show up as increased rating, but all activity earns on MyLot. The first response you get on your discussion does earn you the visible point, though.
You do not need to award best response on the first day, in fact you may want to wait awhile. When you give Best response, you earn and so does the person who receives it. An advantage of going back to discussions periodically and posting a comment is that it brings it back to the top of the rotation. A more active discussion does seem to earn more, so you make it more active by commenting, then others will see it and respond. I will not argue with your experiences, just observing what I have seen happen generally.

Good points. On the other hand, I have noticed
that I get MUCH more responses by making it a habit
to award best response on the first day a discussion is
posted. People know that I am more willing to award a
best response to the early birds, so they drop by on the
day that I post.
And, I have not noticed ANY income coming from old discussions.
On the other hand, I have earned a few pennies by updating my
older discussions. So I can get on board with that idea.

We are actually told in the FAQs not to award the Best Response for at least a week.

I think those are great tips definitely and it is so kind of you to share this. These are just basic ideas and I have come to learn that there are lots of awesome ways one can earn here if they put their mind and dedication to it. Of course many regular mylot members whom are awesome in my opinion have put passion first before money and I think that's the most important thing as well. I go with that anytime and earnings are really secondary. I used to think that people saying that are just making them up but no. I dare those who say that everyone being here are just for earnings to spend at least a week here actively responding and discussing and they will find themselves totally enjoying their time in mylot as well. I feel sad when people are just here for the money and after they have tried out for a day, they go and make a mole out of a hill. I certainly think that's not the right attitude to adopt but I'm sure they will realize that mylot is a place not just for earnings, but more. As for your tips, I agree to them all and as for the best response, that's a new thing for me. Try uploading pictures, I think it helps, though on days that I don't type a lot, I upload pictures on the interest page for the enjoyment of it. Take care my friend.

I know you have shared this information with me in the past, but I'm not sure that it is all correct to be honest. My fiance does nothing but respond to people most days, or comment to me, and I still earn off of him, and he still earns even though the discussion is months old, and he's not the first responder, etc. I guess it just depends on who you are though, and how many lines, etc, you do. I don't think your wrong in your assumptions, there are so many different ways to earn from the site without gaming the site, it's just finding those ways that work for you that is tricky.

That's totally awesome! Wish I could talk my honey
into posting on Mylot as my referral.
He is a super hard worker but doesn't type well.
So I will have to find someone else to help out on
that front.

Beauty, if he's a hard worker you could always look to him for ideas on discussions such as gardengerty here. My fiance and I are opposite in that respect, GardenGerty, I am the one with the good ideas. Poor guy can hardly keep up with all that I do on here.

I think this is a good informtion but I can not make more money from mylot y posting mesage so I have planned once I get paid from this site I will refer more number of active members to this site so that they will start posting mesages here so that I can make good money for referal income

I also don't agree with BR point.
but what do you mean by the first point you have stated. Can we get paid for our discussion for only one day and that too when we recieve first response.
It means that if you get respons for this discussion a month after posting, you will not get paid, is it what you are saying?

this is great. i dont have any tip yet because i am new here.
thanks for sharing. i have tried that uploading a photo and they do sure add up to your earnings. i dont know if i can award a best response to a discussion at the very first day of my posting it because i will still keep an eye on other responses the next days.
referrals... they will increase your earnings, you will get percentage on their earnings too. although i havent got one yet, im working on it. even though you will not post that much here once you got an active ref you're earnings will still increase.

All of your tips sound really good. Most of everything I have started has recived responses. There have been a few that have hardly any responses though. I guess it all depends on what the post gets started and how many people are looking around for a discussion to respond to.

when I start a dicussion I also add an image with that discussion. Than also increase your earnings with Mylot. I also try to keep my discussions with god quility stuff wich make it interesting enough for people to respond to it. And of course do not forget the referrals you earn from. I just got one ref that is very much active and that increases my earnings to...lol

I had not find any god refs either when I first met YOU...and that after I showed a pic wiht payout proof....I believ that is nessesary to have. You are more likely to get some god refs with that. You have some god splashes, why not use one of those with a payment proof when You get your first. I am thinking about doing so...I am surprised that it is hard to find them though....
However, if we keep our hopes we will gind them...the key is not giving up...

These are some great tips that I do most of now. The only other tip I have which is the obvious one & that is to be as active as you canbecause as we'd all agree, the more active you are, the more money you make :)

This was going to be my advice to anyone wanting to earn on mylot. You must be active. If you are on this site each day and post discussions or responses that have a lot of quality to them, you will earn money. I think that posting back to your discussions helps a lot too. I find that I earn more money those days. Also, the tasks on here help with earnings.

Thanks for sharing your tips.
The only thing I can think of to add is posting photos. My earnings increase substantially when I post photos. Although there is a limit to how many photos you can post in a day, if you reach that limit daily you will see your earnings increase.
I try to respond to every response to my discussions and give a best response pretty quickly.

hihi...thanks for those wonderful and extremely informative guide to earn more money on mylot..most of the stuff that you mentioned i had no idea of it all, so it is really very informative for me...thanks alot..
i never knew that awarding a best response can help to earn money too, all my discussions that i started i did not choose a best response because i am not too sure which one is best...but now, i think i will go back and look at all my discussions and award the best response..
