I like spicy food, but this one dish from southern part of Manila is so hot,you will perspire while enjoying eating it,goes well with crackers and very cold beer/soda or steamed rice and crispy fried fish or meat, you should try it when you visit the philippines.

That sounds a little too spicy for me. But I wouldn't mind some good recommendations for a nice sea food restaurant in Manila. I discovered a nice one in Market Market a year ago, but can't remember the name. I would love to find one closer in Makati. I will be staying in Makati for about a week before moving on to Cebu where I hope to live in my retirement.

My husband would love that. The hotter the better for him. I can't tolerate too much hot anymore, I could when I was younger, but the older I get the less I tend to enjoy the hot spicy foods. I love spicy foods, but not spicy foods anymore. There are still a couple of spicy things I like, but it is more uncomfortable to eat them then it used to be.
