Internet explorer 8

I just downloaded IE 8 yesterday. The first time I tried it didn't work. I then went to another site to download it. The second time it worked. It took a few hours to figure things out and I accidentally removed some parts I needed, but then figured out how to get them back! Has anyone any comments regarding IE8? Any problems with it? Any good comments? I appreciate your ideas, thanks.

I used to have Internet Explorer 8, before I changed my computer back to factory settings, but when I had it, I had NO complaints with it. It worked perfectly, and it was easy to use, but I just think the release them way too clost to each other, like the Internet Explorer 9 beta is already released. I don't usually download betas, because it might have problems with it, and I don't want to risk my computer with them.

They seem to put them out early and let us poor users test it for them and find their errors! The IE6 was giving me fits on a few sites I use. Then I heard that a lot of sites will stop using it soon because of money it costs to keep it uptodate. I don't understand all that, but I do know that since I downloaded it yesterday the one site I had problems with is perfect now! Thanks for responding.

I would just suggest the downloaders, to be cautious, and Internet Explorer's owner of whatever to only allow a certain amount of "testers", because allowing the general public to use it, and if it destroys their computer INternet Explorer's owner is going to most likely get sued...

I have not had a problem yet, maybe they have fixed the bugs. I have used IE for many years and like the basic of it and how it looks. Thanks for our thoughts and good luck.

I see the "notice" coming up on the screen every time I start my computer, but I have not downloaded yet. I am happy with the system I have now, and I don't want to be disturbed by the new invention until it is perfectly working.

I do not trust beta versions, because of their problems, I just download the final products =)

I had IE8 and actually it is still installed in my computer but its slow and a waste of the time it takes to use and the one time you spend with it (one time because after you use it once you will never try again). Mosilla Firefox is definitely your best bet!! I'm using it as we speak!
