For business email, I usually write down a title. Whereas I seldom write a title for personal emails. Sometimes I will write a title like "Hello" to a friend who we don't write to each other for a long time. So that my email may not be deleted by a mistake. But most of the time I leave the title blank.

Actually now i seldom sent emails to my friends, only for my work bussiness. If for the bussiness,i would type the title, you know,i should let others know what the email mean and from, as we know, there are anonymous email with virus. if for friends, i would post "hello" or "hi"juts like you, lol, coz they know my email adress.

Often the e mails I get that say Hello or Hi are spam e mails. I tend to ignore them. I will put something that applies to whatever I write. I want people to know it is me.

I send a lot of e-mails to a lot of people during my days, so I always give each e-mail a subject line so a) the recipient will know what they are about and b) so I will know what they are about when the original recipient responds to them. if I didn't send and receive e-mails with subject ines, I would be extremely confused.

Do you mean the subject? I always fill out the email subject, to make sure the other site recognize our previous discussion... I don't write much in single email, I prefer phone conversation for business.

sometimes i could forget to write my titles of my emails. but most of the time, i just write "hi" or "hello". mostly my emails are personal, thats why titles are not that important to me. and thats why i always ended up forgetting to put one. but by now, i find time to put titles for them to distinguish my mails. on which are important and what must be read first.

I think it's easier to sort out emails by different titles.

If I send an e mail, I will put something in the subject line. That way people have some idea who it is that is writing them. I do not open blank subjects and My friends probably would not either.

Hi youless, I rarely write the subject of the email if it’s a reply of email to the person concerned or to my friends. sometimes we would keep on emailing using the same subject for lots of time. I did receive emails with "no subject" from my good friend If I start writing a new email, definitely I will write type a subject related to the content of the email, before sending it. The person who receives the email will come to know the content of the email roughly when seeing the subject occurring in his mail box. Happy posting!

I don't really leave the title blank... i rarely send chain emails... and for sure a lot fo people would just delete emails that look like junk... so i always put a title to be sure that it will not get deleted... that is the safest way that i can think of...

Hello youless. I usually write the title for each email, but sometimes I forget. I think that it is a good idea to write the title because it can tell us what it is about. It is just like a passage with always a title so that the readers won't get confused about it. Good day, youless.

As for me,I have developed the habit of writing a title for the emails before sending them out.I think a content related title is very helpful.Sometimes a email without a title will be easily treated as spam.Somrtimes I tend to delete the email if there is no title. Have a nice day and happy mylotting!
