It has definitely happen to anyone at any given time. I call that my dumbest moment because I feel so stupid when I have no money with me. That's just me, ha! Normally, I would bring a thin wallet and store everything inside. The only thing I can't slot are coins because there are is no compartment for coins. So my ID, license and everything else is pretty much there. So in short, if I forget to bring my wallet, I might as well just go the extra mile back home and take it with me, or just go back home and stay indoor. I can't bear to go anywhere without money or all the cards with me. It would definitely feel awkward.

I am always without money, but with my debit card. I am going to change my habit and have on me at least $20....this way I may spend less....the advice taken from financial guru is to limit the spending paying with cash....

OMG NO1!!! I won't even go up to the mailbox to get the mail without my wallet! LOL Who knows? Whild I'm up there I might think to go and grab something at the burger place next door, or maybe a bus will come by and I'll decide to get on it and go somewhere (calling in on my cellphone of course to let my husband at home know that I've decided to go somewhere so he won't wonder why it's taking me so long at the mailbox), and I mean my whole wallet!! Credit cards Debit cards (I have a Canadian one and an American one) Points cards Coffee card Library card Airmiles card Money... I carry my whole wallet in my bag, so I'm ready for anything!!!

yeah, I think I've done that several times. Sometimes I leave my wallet at home and then I go to the university I have a full schedule from 10 am to 9pm... eventually I end up borrowin' money from my Bff's and well I return it the next day. But it's really horrible especially when I find out that I've left my money after I'm already halfway to school. I forget to pay the driver and well it's a bit embarassing, no scratch that it's very embarassing but I act like nothing's wrong and hopefully they don't notice it especially since it's rush hour. BUt I do feel guilty, but what was I supposed to do. I refrain from forgetting my wallet if i could.

I've done it a few times and there's two reasons for it. First of all, my youngest daughter (who is 18) can SMELL money and she always needs some if I have any so I try not to carry cash and, if I do, it's only a few bucks. All of my coin change goes into the Ice Cream Man jar for the grandkids so, without my debit card, I'm in trouble. What usually happens is that I stop to get gas and put the debit card in my pocket "for a minute" while I fill up. Then I forget it's in my pocket so the next day when I'm wearing a different pair of pants, my card is at home in the hamper. Fortunately, I also have a debit card for our business account and have used that...so far only once...to get some cash when I needed it.

Hey momma! Yes! I did that last week! I was shocked when I opened my wallet to find out that I had forgot to put any money in it! I don't have a debit card either, only a credit card! I was at my doctor's waiting for my ride to pick me up and I wanted to get something from the vending machine! When I opened up my wallet there was just a few cents in it and nothing else! I couldn't believe it! I never go out without some money! But, this time I just forgot to check and put any money in! So I learned my lesson!

oh heck no, i don't mess with those credit cards. they got me in trouble back in 2000 and i have not used one since. i rather use my debit card or my cash. i just don't like to owe people money

this happened to me just yesterday. i left my hostel and went to the university without any cash with me. I felt so bad, i dint even wanted to ask someone for a some cash. I managed somehow to pass my time without spending a dime. It was difficult though but i managed it somehow without eating anything.

I have done this plenty of times! Especially if I am just running into town to grab something from the store. It wouldn't be such a hassle if I didn't have to drive all the way around! If I could just go straight throught it would be 30 seconds, but instead it's 5 mins back out of town... It is such a hassle!

I never leave my house without any money! I always reach my pocket for my wallet because I can't have peace of mind without any money! There are some times that I forget to bring my ID but those instances are very rare.

It is called being unorganized. Sadly it happens alot to young mothers and those with alot of responsibilities and things to distract them. You might want to put everything in a purse or a good wallet and carry it with you for all outings. Getting into the habit helps you to remember. Make it so that it is apart of your being and you can't leave without it. Sometimes a string tied around your finger or wrist helps you remember there is something you need to do before you leave the house.

Actually I never left the house before with no money with me. I think i am somewhat a scheduled or organized person. I always double check everything when i leave because I don't want to go back up six flights because I missed something. I also check the previous day to make sure i have everything in hand. But my mom once forgot to bring money with her before she left the house. She walked up a few streets and then she figure she has not money in hand and so she had to walk back to get it. I think it's better if you have a wallet with you and to always remember to put it back in your bag when you go out so you don't have to forget it.

Yes.. along with my keys too. =__= I am the type who refuse to step out of the house unless there is at least one friend going out with me. so I am really lucky that whenever I forget to bring my money, keys or the both of them along with me, there will be someone around to help me pay for the expenses for the day. Of course, I will return their money the next day I meet them =)

Yes, I did it once when I was in college. I remember I was such in a hurry that day because I will be late for my final exam. I was not late but I forgot my wallet. I only knew I did not bring my wallet during lunch when I was suppose to pay already. Luckily, I was with my friend. She lent me money for my lunch and for my ride home. I paid her immediately the following day. Since then, I always made it a point to check if I have my wallet before I left home.

ouch. that sucks because to me there is nothing worst then having to wait for someone! i think in my case i am subconsciously trying not to spend money and that is why i am leaving it home.
