personally speaking...yes, i think that it is hard to understand computer language. i had studied Computer Science and it made me go insane with all the commands just to make a simple program. the first program being taught in college i think is C++, then Turbo C, Java and the succeeding, well i don't have any idea. pascal is a bit easy compared to the first i mentioned.

A couple of years ago, I spent some time learning html. Computer languages are just like a foreign language that you would try to learn to speak....if you don't use it you lose it. I did ok with the basics of html, but did not have my own server, etc. to try to go into further detail. Plus I was just learning on my own, and not taking a course or anything like that. I went to school for computer programming back in the days before the internet. I learned BASIC, COBOL and RPG II. They were a bit challenging, but I did well because I had an excellent professor.

I started by learning C++ which I find the most difficult of all (I never learn Pascal, Cobol and other though) A single mistakes can cost me lots of time trying to find it. It was pain. But I think it worth it since other languages are easier once you master C++. Then I learn Java, which is easier than C++. I learn PHP and HTML during my practical training. I did learn Unix during university but I never use it after that, so I can't remember the language anymore.

Hi princy, just want to ask if php and html are easy to learn and understand than java? I'm planning to enroll a course for that but I'm not really confident. I've learned basic html just the functions but I havent get to combine all those to make a site. I have no idea how php is? Since you've studied about it what can you say? Thanks!

HTML is basic so it is easy. PHP is easier than Java. But like I said, since I already learn C++ beforehand, other languages seem easier. I learn PHP online. You can try this site, this is where I learn them : http://www.phpbuilder.com/

I've studied java in my third year in college, it wasnt really easy specially if you dont have a book. Our professor taught us about the basic function of java but it's still not enough. You need to practice and read book to be able to make a program using java. Well, I wasnt really interested in programming before when i was studying it. But now I think I'm having interest and I want to give it another try.

I've studied java for three years. In my opinion,it's a best and fast way to do enough programming. And when you reach a level, you 'll find programming language is nothing but its ideas. By that time, you'll feel that it's an easy thing to learn any programming language. Come on, my friend.
