The last day of the school year is almost here. Are you ready?

Nope not ready. I'll be needing a referee shirt & fast! My younger two bicker as it is over things and then add the oldest... YEASH! NO thanks! My kids don't finish I don't think til almost the middle of June! Then I have my oldest in Summer school so she can get help with her reading and math for 1st grade. Though one has to also look back on all that they've learned especially those of us with little ones. I can't believe my 6yo is learning to read! It so floors me compared to what they taught us when we were in 5k.. ya know?!?!?!?

This is the last week of school for my daughter this year. She will be a senior next year. She has a job and needs some extra hours so we are definitely ready for it. We plan to mainly work and swim this summer.

Well, with all the problems we faced earlier this year with electric being out and trees down and schools called off for awhile Kids were due to get out June 12,2009 but now with all the rain we have had last month and this month and all the flooding and school yet again called off for a week almost it seems that It will be closer to the end of June before she (little sis) gets out. Sad since they go back the first week in August.They are doing testing Monday..so lets hope and pray and cross everything that she will pass onto 3rd grade. Since my mom moved to this new place my little sister has been struggling to catch up since it seems they were ahead of her old school where she made almost straight A's but this newer school her grades have dropped alot.

My kids will be out May 22. Since finals are the last three days, I don't know it they will need to be there the whole day on Friday are not. I will depend on the finals schedule. Summer plans include camp for the kids, a mission trip to Nicargua (Hubby and kids), and my daughter is babysitting some.

My son's last day of school is on May 27th. We don't have much in the way of summer plans yet though. I know that my son will be going to Arkansas for part of the summer, but my daughter and I will not be going with.

my 2 children that go to school there last day is not until june 12 so they got a little while to go.

Our school year doesn't end till mid-late July but I no longer have school aged children so my summer plans are not really that different from any other time of the year, except that I hope the sun will shine on at least some of my days off
