What season finales did you watch and what was your favorite this year?

I don't know if I can pick a favorite since I watch different shows for different reasons, but I really appreciated House's finale (even if you thought is was predictable, you can't knock the writing or acting). I watched just about every Fox finale so far and a couple CBS dramas. What are you watching/liking?

The only season finale that I watched was smallville and I must say I was really dissapointed in this season finale because I thought we were going to get to see more of doomsday and get to see a big fight with him and clark. But we got nothing just a 30 second beatdown of doomsday beating up clark wich seemed pointless to me. And after the whole buildup and them saying it was going to be a huge fight really pissed me off so much.

I agree. I just got to see it on CW's site since I can't get a CW channel now at home. Not only was the ending a poor battle, but the cliff-hanger repercussions mean Clark is even further from being Supes, something that will have to be cleaned up pretty fast, 'cuz who knows how many more seasons they can last. The thing with Jimmy Olsen's brother was cute, but are we supposed to infer that he is going to go by "Jimmy" down the road? Overall I thought it was a disappointing season for them despite some flashes of greatness.

I don't think I watched any season finale's last year. I would have to say American Idol though. I forgot about that.

The finale of House actually surprised me. I thought it was way too easy for him to detox that fast, but I didn't expect it to play out how it did. I can't say I liked the episode, but then again, once they brought on the new team, I kind of started liking the show less.
I'm not a regular Grey's Anatomy viewer, and that is probably why I didn't get some of the things that happened in the finale, but I did watch the second hour of the show. I have to say the ending surprised me. Not when Izzie flatlined, but when the John Doe was revealed to be George. You probably don't watch that show since you mentioned FOX's and the ones from CBS.
I wanted to see the finale for Supernatural and The Big Bang Theory but haven't yet. Oh, what did you think of the Bones finale?

I loved the Bones finale because fans of the show knew exactly what they were watching and hopefully could relate to how Booth's mind and Temperance's story were so heavily influenced by their true feelings about the people in their lives. It was "mean" to show the bedroom scene for 3 weeks leading up to it, but by the next-to-last episode everyone should have been able to see what was coming. For as long as the series runs, as in many great shows, it would be best not to have a full relationship between those two, I think. Only complaint: As a fan of the old show Angel, I would have liked a vampire reference, but if they've ever done it, I must have missed it.
