do you make or buy a birthday cake for yourself?

i had cakes when i was still that young. my mom used to buy for me for cake is really my favorite. birthdays are not complete without cakes. now that i have my own money, i didn't buy one for me. the cakes are always for my kid now. even during my husband's birthday, there is no cake. next year i planned to buy cake for my birthday. it will be my first ever OWN cake, bringing back the old happy times. how about you?do you make or buy a birthday cake for yourself?

I have never bought I cake for myself on my birthday and that's what my wife makes me think because she is the one that buys or makes the cake and I'm the one that gives her the money. So I'm confused about that but I guess if it wasn't for her I would not have a cake on my birthday.

Sometimes I make it so I will have something to do with my daughter or with the kids that might be in my house that day. Also I have noticed that kids like making anything that has to do with sweets and also its fun decorating cakes. Other times i will buy it just to have something to share with family and that is of someone those not buy it for me firts.

that's why i love cakes and parties. it's the only time that common friends and relatives get together. sometimes friends sacrifice their days form work just to attend the party which they consider as important. it's also giving one a break and meet people whom they meet a long while ago.

I do not make or buy myself a birthday cake. Usually my family takes care of that. Usually I have a homemade cake or a small cake that is bought from the store and made. It's just easier and I'd feel rather strange making myself a birthday cake. I'd rather have someone that cares about me take care of that for me.

I'm now 19 years of age and i don't have cakes during my birthdays.. my last birthday that i had cake is when i'm 16 years old.. that was the last time.. now i don't like having cakes for me because i don't want my parents or my other relatives to treat me like a child.. it's better that they give me money instead..

i thought the same thing too before. but now i feel like having one. i missed blowing the candles and seeing the numbers on my cake. i wanna have balloons too.just for fun, of course.
