Should the parents decide the career or a professional help should be taken?

Firstly I think that the parents should never ever take the decision of their children carrier because this may lead to disaster in later time. I think the best judge of the carrier is the children himself. He knows his abilities and drawbacks, he knows his linking and disliking. So it would be the best if he can take the decision. If he is unable to take proper decision there the parents must consult a professional for guidance. They will take a few aptitude tests and determine the interest of the child. The reason behind parents not taking the decision is that in most cases the parents are over ambitious about their child and this could make the child's life hell.

In my opinion, parents or professional help like career planners can do so much as to encourage the child what course he or she wants to take. In the end, it will still be the child's decision what to pursue. Parents and career planners can give them options, tell the child about his or her strengths and weaknesses, but if the child wants to go his or her own way, we can't do much anything about it but to support his or her endeavor.

The parents with the help of some professionals should guide the child to make his/ her own decisions. Nothing should be forced on the child because if they are forced to do something they done like they will not be happy.

well i think that the parents should take the onion of the child before making any hasty decisions about their carrier no one can be good in any work if they do not enjoy and work become fun if we start enjoying it one can even use a counselor in this matter to take the right choice of profesion

This case espaciallly happens in China. Our parents love us, we will show the appreciation to them. I think there is no final answer. It is just decided by the effection of the professional help. If it is helpful for your career development, adopt it; if not, go strict along the way which established by yourself.
