Missing Friends... I'm Worried For A Friend Here!

I agree... I didn't like the sound of what she was relating to us. I didn't come out and say what I thought it might be for the sake of not upsetting her too much, but I'm really worried. I hope she is in the hospital because I feel that's where she needs to be, under a specialist's care. I just wondered if anybody knew her well enough offline to be in touch with her or her family, who could shed some light on the current state of her health. I do so loathe it when friends go missing in these sort of circumstances. It was driving her crazy, and I'm not at all confident that all is well. Thank you for lending your support. I hope you're right, but I guess all that remains is to wait and see if anybody knows anything. Brightest Blessings.

Thank you so much, Marcyyyy for your prayers. We all look out for each other on this site, and I've made a fair few friends here. She worried me with her last discussion which she posted three days ago, and hasn't acknowledged any responses. In fact, she hasn't logged into Mylot at all in the past three days. I so hope you're right that she's in the hospital, because we'll know she's in the best hands then, and hopefully, recovering from her pain and loss of sleep. I didn't hear personally my friend, but she's logged on a few times since then and started discussions, so thankfully, she's ok.

I guess your car's probably fixed by now... I certainly hope so my friend. I'm just catching up from my computer downtime and problems... lol.

I agree with you, my friend. It's so scary when you read a discussion like this and then the person goes missing for ages. We imagine all sorts of things, and if there was some central helpline, it would be of great benefit to us. The only problem there is that several might opt out of using the facility and not enter their details or enter false ones, as happens so often on these sites. I suppose you can't blame people from wanting to keep their personal identity secure. I had hoped, however, that Tiff might have a close friend or family member on here who would know what the situation is. As you say, her situation wasn't good, and she may be in the hospital, which I sincerely hope is the case, but it's the "not knowing". My mind would be at rest if we just knew she was being cared for in the hospital. I'll certainly come back and let you know if I hear anything, and in the meantime, I'm sending energies her way, and praying that somebody, somewhere, will see this discussion and come give us some information as to whether our friend is ok. UPDATE... Good News, I think... 1300 hrs Thursday, 21st May - GMT (London, England) I just checked Tiff's profile out and she logged on ten hours ago. I've sent her a PM, and now, I'm going to check whether she came back to that discussion and acknowledged her responses. Will keep you all up to date. 1310 hrs Thursday, 21st May - GMT (London, England I checked back. No activity, but the good thing is, she managed to log on to Mylot ten hours ago, or somebody did. I'll hang on and see if I get a response to my PM. I'm not happy still... I think maybe she was checking advice given to her in her discussion, but at least she logged on to Mylot, which is one small indication that she's reasonably ok, but I fear she may still be suffering. Yes, it was a bit of a scare! I was behind with my discussions because I'd been busy of late, but just tonight, I caught up and happened upon her discussion. I didn't like the sound of what she's been enduring at all, but I chose not to air my real views. Then, for some reason, perhaps because I noticed she hadn't gone back into the discussion, I went to her profile to see if she'd logged on to read her responses, only to find that she's not been in for three days. That concerns me greatly. Even if she'd gone to the hospital, I feel she might have posted a quick note, but then again, when you have headaches like she was having, the glare of the screen probably wouldn't have helped in the slightest. I hoped somebody might be in touch with her personally, and able to let us know what the current situation is. I'm really concerned about Tiff.
