well, my client has these plants on her porch that I water for her 3 times a week One of these plants is a kind of lily, that I have been watching bloom this last week. so, because these flowers only last a day, and today there was a beautiful bloom and I took a picture of it to share with her and she wanted me to also share it with you. So, here it is, such a beautiful flower!

Hi ElicBxn, It is a beautiful flower, I would not mind a few of them in my garden, but the more I look at it the more it reminds me of a triffid. So maybe it might not be a good idea to have too many in the garden

That really is a beautiful flower...never seen a daylily that color before, only ones I've seen are in the orange or yellow colors--shame they only last a day

What a beautiful day lily! I couldn't believe the colors in it either! I've never seen a day lily with those colors or the ruffled edges. I showed my mother the picture and she loved it. She's a lily fanatic and was amazed at it.

I love lillies they are so pretty and fragrant as well. We have some lillies in the yard that my grandmother planted but my brother and kids kids trampled the leaves so there will be no blooms this year. An idiot my aunt hired to cut the grass mowed over them once an they came back so I hope they are still resilient. I would like to move them but they have been there probably since I was a kid.

I didn't stick my nose in it, so I can't tell you if it smelled good, probably next bloom should try to fertilize it (make it go to seed)
