Are you sleep deprived or are you the kind who sleep most of the time. Whatever you sleep habits are, do you know how much sleep do we really need? And do you agree that sleep deprivation results to many serious health problems?Share your thoughts.

I think I read somewhere that you should have at least eight hours of sleep. I do not have sleep deprivation, and you should probably have more than eight hours, I always try to have that amount or more when sleeping. I do agree that sleep deprivation results to many serious health problems. You cannot function when you do not have enough sleep. My mom usually doesn't get enough sleep, thats because she wakes up early, but I think she's doing herself in. She needs to sleep in longer, and not get up at like 4 am, period.

i manage to sleep most of the time. my sleeping habit is to make sure i get 8 hours sleep every night. i think that we need between 8-10hours sleep a night and i believe that we have more sleep than that your ruining your day as you miss the morning and it reduces the time you have to do things. I agree that a lack of sleep can cause people to be ill im not sure if it can lead to serious health but probably could if they had a lack of sleep for months. But surely after a point your body will be exhausted and you will just start to fall asleep. I think a lack of sleep can make you more vulnerable to gettting ill as your immune system doesnt have the energy to operate fully.
