did you know you can get a free single hamburger from wendys??.... today on my way home from my running around this afternoon and grabbed some quick food. when I got home I put all the food out on the table and the receipt ...on the back of the receipt it says...Tell us about this visit and we'll give you a free single hamburger.... 
you go online and fill out a simple survey and it will give you a validation code--you fill in the blank on the receipt and use it within 14 days....[
how cool is that!! why not... free food is free food!!

No, I didn't know this. I bet you have to buy a meal or a hamburger first in order to get one free, don't you? You said it said this on the back of the receipt. I might want to go to Wendy's sometime and try this. It's been a while since I've been there. I used to love their frostys! Kathy.

LOL, we had a frosty last week... we go to Wendys once or twice a month.. and it doesnt say that you have to purchase anything... just do the survey, write the number they give you and you have to use it with in 14 days... and only 1 per month... but hey, its still free!! LOL

yes, free food is good....LOL, and I was so surprised when I saw it on the receipt... it just happened to be laying with the back page up and it caught my eye... pretty cool!!

Yes, check it out... why not... we are already on the computer, we can just do the survey and get a free hamburger... I think that is pretty cool!!

I wish we had a Wendys here, I would love a free burger right now
We do have a similar thing here and they will give offers on the back of receipts, such as discounts in various places or two for one deals.
I remember out local cinema did a promotion on the back of their tickets for a two for the price of one deal for whoopers from Burger King. We go to to the cinema a lot and I did eat so very many whoppers over that promotion they had.

oh my gosh...I would have been doing tons of whoppers too!! LOL Sorry you dont have a Wendys there... but start checking your receipts... it was just a chance that I saw it on this one... I am going to do the survey tomorrow and I will use the receipt in the next 2 wks like it says...

wow... really... i didn't know that... i would love to try this out... although what i am buying at Wendy's are the frosty and salads only. do they have a minimum amount to reach so we can join? Wendy's burger here are a bit expensive compared to the local ones, and they dont have that taste our taste buds look for... lol. but if there's a free single hamburger i would surely try it... as you said free food is free food!

Yes, there frostys are wonderful...I get those every once in a great while as a treat!! but yes, free food is something to go back for!!

yes, something free now a days is a great thing!!! and I go to Wendys about every other month, but this is a great thing to get people coming back.

I saw that on the Wendys sign too. I think it is cool when places do that but I think it is kinda of deciveing in a way too. Like lets say you thought you could go through without buying anything and than you realize you must buy something first. But I still think it is cool too. Take care and I want to ask a question how long is this running? Anyway happy mylotting to you as well.

I have the receipt in front of me and it doesnt say how long it will be running, and there is no expiration date on here... just says to go to www.talktowendys.com and take a brief survey within 48 hours of visit...
We only go to Wendys about 1 or 2 a month... sometimes not that much, but it was just a chance I saw it on the receipt and wondered how many people new it was there.... hey its free food!! LOL

yes, definitely ask for the receipt ... I will be checking more receipts of mine in the future, afterall it is free food....LOL
and they didnt tell me about the promotion, I found it myself by chance... and if others can benefit from it too thats why I brought it up here... LOL

Its been a long time since I have eaten at Wendy's.
I have noticed a lot of stores are starting to do things like that. Give your feedback and they will give you something.
I like that option much better than the sweepstakes offers! I never win the money from the sweepstakes, so why should I bother to waste my time giving feedback?
I will have to remember that for my husband. He really likes Wendy's!

Well bookreadermom and all mylot friends, food is something which we all like to have wherever we move. Especially, those food which we normally don't prepare at our homes. Like, hamburger, you said which is coming 'free' if you complete certain steps. Are you sure 'free' means free!. Today, practically in every resturants or big malls or fast food centres whatever, you name it comes free on certain food items. 'Aware' of such things as in today's world nothing is free. This is base of argument over the topic.

according to the receipt it does say "free single hamburger"... thats what I am going by... but the rest of the food would cost... but hey, why not go for the free burger since those are usually the expensive part of the food...LOL
