Have you ever realized that different people have different kinds of allergies?

Well one day I went out with a friend and was invited to have a drink. I told him that I could drink too much 'cause my father and my grandmother both have severe allergy to alchool which means that i should be careful while drinking. He was quite surprised by this alchool allergy stuff since he had never heard of that before. Actually, I was surprised when I first learned that lots of white people have allergies to nuts as I suddenly realized that it seldom happens to Asian people. There're vaious allergies that may sound really rediculous to people from somewhere else, like many Chinese people have allergies to milk. Have you ever noticed that? Any interesting stories?

I have actually realized that and none of my parents have the food allergy that I do so I am not sure where I have gotten this from. I am allergic to cheese and I don't drink much dairy because it makes me ill. In case I usually drink soy milk because it is much healthier than regular milk. What really is not good is that when I go out to eat or if I'm eating takeout I have to be really careful to see if the food has cheese or if it has come in contact with any cheese. Although, the funny thing is that I can eat cheese but I can't eat aged and pasteurized cheeses, these cause my allergy to go off.

thats funny, i do not have the same thing is you, which would make sense. i cant think that i am allergic to anything right now that i know of. i have never been allergic to anything, and so far i am not today. i consider myself to be lucky, and then when i do find an allergy, i will be just like the rest of you, allergic to something, but as for now, i could be superman i think.

Ye lots of people have to use soy in their daily diets instead of dairy and they don't necessairily inherate that allergy from their parents. But your case for cheese is quite interesting. Maybe I could observe carefully to see whether there're people around me could not digest cheeses very well 'cause you know, here in France cheese is kind of a ataple food !

Yes I knew that- I have a niece that is allergic to stuff with certain dyes in it. There are people allergic to tomatoes, and different fruits. I for example can't eat cherries, peaches, nectarines, apples because my lips start to itch and swell a bit. I love these fruits but they don't love me.

It sounds really usual to me to have allergy to certain dyes as they could be totally artificial materials. But you just remind me of a friend who's allergic to peaches beacause of the fluffy peach skin! Every time she even only passes by a fruit store, she'll get itchy pimples all around her body.

i never noticed it but now that i think abt it, i think its true. I have a dust allergy but neither of my parents have it. I always knew allergies weren't hereditary. I just thought it was something you were born with. Thanks for clearing that up

One of them was lucky and the rashes would disappear the second day, whereas the situation of the tall lady was rather serious. She would feel uncomfortable and thirsty all the day. The rashes on her skin made her felling itchy and uneasy. She had to visit her doctor and took some medicine to make her feeling better. I can’t take certain Chinese herbal medicine. Red rashes will happen to occur on certain part of my skin after taking it. The skin with red rashes would feel itchy for at least a couple of days. It’s really a torture as I could hardly stop the disgusting and uneasy feeling of itch

That's true, 'cause the alcholic allergy case is extreme to my grandma. Even the medical-used alcholic cotton whould make her past out for couple of hours. But my friend finds that unusual 'cause he thinks that human could be allergic to NATURAL things, not artificial stuffs like alchool. But of course, you do have to get some guidelines before using Chinese herbes. Some certain matches of the herbes could be highly dangerous!

Allergies are nuisances. The severe existence of allergies is a sign of mistaking immune system. This is a clear indication that a person who has allergy like Asthma is suffering from a weak body immune system. Therefore, you as the one suffering from allergy or asthma you must do strengthen your immune system. The big question is "How can I strengthen my immune system?" First, you must modify your lifestyle. The major concern of lifestyle modification that really affects mostly our healthy being is our habit or preference of eating. There is a certain health book that really helps me in my food preference or that really helps me know more about good food and bad food is this "Encyclopedia of Foods And Their Healing Power" If you want to know more about this book you can visit a website: www.medfoodpedia.com

i have realized that people have different kinds of allergies. alot of people dont have the same type of one as you do, thats a thing that makes them really different to you, like one of your friends is allergic to bees. i am not allergic to bees, but my sister might be, we are not sure yet. but for wasps, wasps hurt alot even if you are not allergic to them, and if you are, you get a horrible plus to the problems the allergies give to you.

I can't eat nuts like the one that usually boiled before eating it (I forget the name~~~) Usually my skin will start to rash and pimples like begin to pop out like crazy on my face. I think it's common for some teenagers to have pimples after eating nuts but I seem to have them by each time I eat nuts. It's a bad thing since nuts look deliciously tempting.

A few years ago I dined with the two teachers, one of them is allergic to seafond. On the teacher's Day the teachers went to eat hot pot,she was late coming, other teachers had already started a seafood rinse. To see her,the other teachers all know her seafood allergy,it is consciously removed all the seafood, but no one had thought of just rinse the pot seafood soup, almost took the life of this teacher.Fortunately,in time to hospital after first aid and transferred to the province's major hospitals, and ultimately saved her life. Some people really did not expect so sensitive on seafood!

I have dust allergy and also allergy with certain foods. I don't know how it comes. My parents and my brother don't have such allergies. I think allergy is unique on each person. My doctor said that allergies can't be healing. All we need to do is preventing and keep away from the source of our allergies. But sometimes it's hard for me. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
