Does Anyone Else Here Play Harmonica?

I never really learned to play anything when I was a kid. My parents tried to get us to play an old pump organ that we had but I never really got into it. I was in my mid thirties and told my wife who is from a very musical family I wanted to play something that I could put in my pocket. I started out playing jaw harp and quickly moved on to play harmonica. I'm not real great at it but I sure have a lot of fun.

I've been playing harmonica for many years. I started out playing real simple melodies and now I can play just about anything if I'm familiar with the tune and the notes are actually on the harmonica. I good place to buy them at a reasonable price is on Ebay. I've been buying the Johnson brand and have been very happy with them.

I've seen them on Ebay but I wasn't real impressed with them. Kind of got spoiled playing Hohner Marinebands. Too bad they're so expensive. I got some cheap ones but the sound you get with the hardwood comb is so much fuller if that is the right word. Great to see there is at least one other person here who plays.
