Here in Brazil we have lots of delicious typical food that you go crazy to choose for one when you go to a restaurant. One of my favorites is called baião-de-dois, that is mixed rice and beans with lots of cheese on it. It´s really wonderful and everytime I go out and even sometimes at home I ask for it. And you? What is your favorite food? is it typical from your country?

That actually sounds like a mexican dish...add some chicken or beef and it probably is just with a different name LOL It does sound good though especially if you stuffed it in some tortilla's. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Here in the USA, we also have a variety of foods as well. My favorite kind of food and my husband's is Mexican. We love Mexican food! We just went to a Mexican restaurant last night and it was "Oh so good!" lol Then there's Chinese food, we do like that a lot too.

That sounds delicious. I am also a rice eater, loves beans...and definitely into cheese...so reading your description to this food made me crave for it. In the Philippines, we have a lot of delicacies...and I can say, there are a lot that may attract your taste buds, since there are some recipes that are similar to other countries, such as Brazil. As for me, my personal favorite, is not considered a meal, but something a snack on a lot of times. I am more into nuts... so I love the Carmelized pili nuts.
