Rain, rain go away little ME wants to work in the woods! lol It's been raining all this week here too and doesn't seem to want to let up anytime soon which is frustrating! We're way above the average so we don't need any more and would love to send it where it's needed most but gosh darn it, we can't so here we all are, water logged!!

Our Pier - TOO MUCH RAIN!!! I could almost launch a boat from our house instead of going all the way down to the lake. We have two huge flood drains that lead from the lake and go under the road to the other side where the land is lower and those drains almost couldn't keep up with all the excess water we had!
Hi Chevee, I know this discussion was 2 weeks ago, but I have to tell you it still hasn't stopped raining here! I think, in the past month, we've had about 3 or 4 days without rain. It's raining right now and has been since Wednesday evening, after it took a little break, and I mean LITTLE. I'm including a photo I took of our pier after last Friday's massive rain storm where we got over 3" in less than 1 hour. The pier is usually about 12 to 15 inches above the water level. It was half underwater! It may have been totally underwater at one time because I waited about an hour after the rain stopped to go out and take photos. The major highway, which is the only way to get to the stores from our house, was closed for part of the day because of a huge mudslide onto the road. My vegetable garden is pretty much rained out, too. I've lost so many veggies, especially my root crops like potatoes. They've rotted from the ground remaining so wet for so long. Should we start building an ark?

Oh, its too hot in our country that you can literally fry an egg on your car. Its really hard, in my heart condition, its hard to breathe with this climate. My palpitations make me suffer so the airconditioner is always on. During summer, the electric bill soars and it can't be helped coz its too hot. I normally take a shower once a day but during these season, to bathe three times seems to be not enough. The temperature yesterday ranges from 70F - 91F... I can't take it anymore.

Hello, It has been pretty nice and sunny here for a few days now, but today it has been raining off and on. I happen to like the rain it gives, me a chance to catch up on some house chores and just enjoy the rain. I try not to plan any outdoor activities when it is raining, so I will be in the home most of the day, catching up on some homework etc. Happy My Lotting!

I love rain and it seems like we never get quite enough, but these last few days it's rained every day, and sometimes hard rain. My garden is drowning. The temperature always drops here when it rains, so it's been cool, too. As a matter of fact, I had to turn the heat back on yesterday. It would be nice to have a few sunny days, then have some more rain, so things would have a chance to grow.

Yes, the weather affects my walking for exercise too. The rain ruins it, but the heat and humidity are hard for me to take as well. Today it was sunny and slightly humid. But we're probably going to get rain tonight or tomorrow morning. Which I don't want to have again at all. Last week it poured all the time.

I live in Florida and we are having our usual rainy weather everyday around 3pm the thunder starts. I have a gazelle for exercise because I don't like walking while playing lightening rod. Who thought you would get so many responses just talking about the weather, nice one.

The past few days it has cooled down a bit, only in the 80's but still lots of sunshine I definitely would not want any rainy weather here in the desert, then it would be too muggy to breathe well.

We had rain for 8 days straight and now for the last 3 days it has rained on and off all day. I seen on the weather channel it is supose to rain for the next4 days yet before we get any kind of break. I know we need the rain but I think enough is enough. I don't like being trapped in the house. I get bored and want to go outside. It kills me LOl

It is blah here. It has been raining on and off all day today just like it has been all week. I just opened up the windows since it is fairly cool out, but it feels kind of muggy. I am going to have to close the windows back up in a minute. It was nicer in here before I opened the windows.
