I scrambled some eggs last night - so boring

I got home quite late from Church and did not want to eat what was cooked. Becoming tired of chicken. So I scrambled some eggs and ate them with two slices of toast. Despite adding a little black pepper they tasted so boring. What do you add to scrambled eggs to make them tastew good?

I usually add some grated Parmesan cheese when I make scrambled eggs. A dash of onion salt is nice too and if I'm really feeling hungry then once it's in the pan I add some diced up cheese if I have any available mmmmmm that just melts and it's delicious

There is a bit of difference here when we make scrambled eggs. "We" means my mom and the people who are into cooking, but not me. Now first of all we call that omlette, instead of scrambled egg. Then there is a lots of onions, garlic, ginger, coriender leaves, and green chillies and then fried on a pan. I love the taste, it is YUMMY. maybe you should try.

Hi Cynthiann, I always add ham and sliced tomato in with mine and also add lots of black pepper and dish it up on the buttered toast. If ham and tomato not avaialable I will add some grated cheese to it. Huggles. Ellie :D

For some odd reason, my husband likes to eat his scrambled eggs with potato chips. That's one of his weird quirks. I'm not crazy about scrambled eggs myself. I'd rather have a fried egg or even an omelet. I asked my hubby to make me an omelet last night. He put in some onion, pepper, and a few slices of potato! Then topped it with cheese. It was yummy.

Yes, many people have suggested cheese so I am going to try it. Plain eggs were so well - plain!

It takes a little longer, but when I make them I dice up some fresh onion and green or red peppers, some time mushrooms if their around and fry them first just til soft, then I pour the eggs over them, I'll sprinkle a little basil over them and lay a slice of swiss or american cheese on top turn off heat and cover while I'm getting the toast ready! There you have it! tdemex

Salsa is about as inventive I get with my eggs. Unless it is an omelette I don't like to put cheese in them. So salsa it is.

I normally add salt, pepper, and cheese to my scrambled eggs. I will sometimes add some onion and mushroom or some bacon or sausage as well. It really depends on what else I am having with it.

That sounds like a really good way to cook up some mushrooms. I am going to have to try that. It seems pretty easy too.

This sounds great. I really love mushrooms - they are so expensive out here. I could eat them every day. I wipe them and put them in tin foil. Season with a little sald and black pepper, dot them with butter and bake in an oven. Best way for me. and easy too

You can add some shredded cheese or even a slice of cheese just before they're finished cooking. You can top it with salsa on your plate, either just the eggs or the eggs with cheese. If you really want, you can roll the cheesy salsa eggs inside a steamed/warmed tortilla for a breakfast burrito. Leftover fried rice? Heat it in the pan and then pour the eggs over it for a entirely different way to eat those leftovers and/or the eggs. A hashed brown patty cooked up first and then the eggs takes the boring out of just the eggs and isn't really any harder or longer to do. Have a nice Kaiser roll ready and when the eggs are done, put them on the roll with a slice of American cheese for a breakfast sandwich. If you have any sausage patties, cook one before you cook the eggs and add it to the roll for a sausage egg and cheese sandwich (or an English muffin, toasted). Toast the English muffin, butter it, put the eggs on top and top it with melted CheezWhiz. It'll look like Eggs Benedict.

My sister used to add cheese when she'd make some before going to school, etc. I don't know where she picked that up from, but I also like mine with a little bit of cheese. Of course we eat egg so rarely here that we don't bother to spice it up.

Hi there cynthiann Hope all is well with you. Right eggs of the scrambled type, well I would add some garlic to them and actually that stops them from repeting on you. Also what I do sometimes is to put some fresh chopped tomatoes in some butter in the frying pan and when they are soft I add the eggs with some cheddar cheese. I always do scrambled eggs in a frying pan it always seems easier to cook like that and easier to clean the pan afterwards. Take care my friend x

Yes me and the boys are fine though I do have to go into hospital on the 16th June to have some pollops removed from my vocal cords which hopefully sort out the problems I have been having. I do hope there is nothing seriously wrong with your heart! We are in Cornwall right now but are returning later today. You pc is on my kitchen cupboard door so I see it everyday apart from when I am here at my mum's of course. We will be coming down again at the end of June to see something at the Theatre for the kids and then down again in the summer holidays, I will get another postcard sent off to you again then. Take care my friend xx

Add a little salt. It might not be the healthiest, but it sure makes it taste nicer! Also, you can try mixing in some cheese with it, and maybe a little chopped up onion. It all depends on your taste, but you can add whatever you like really! Just experiment and see how things go for you! You might surprise yourself by liking something that you never really thought you would.

Don't feel last century! It's just all about experimenting. You can't really get it 'wrong'.. just find something in your fridge you think is cool, and chuck it in! Maybe some chopped up ham might be nice? Wow this is making me hungry!

I add shredded cheese, green peppers and mushrooms to mine at times. There are different ways you can make them. you can put bacon and cheese together with it. That is really good to. sometimes I don't like plain eggs either. So I add a little of that stuff to it. Try it and see how you like it.

some people put quickmelt cheese and some bell peppers. others put potato also. i would suggest cutting up french fries so that you don't need to boil the potato. i personally like adding small dried shrimps to it. yum .

you can add stuff to your scrambled eggs, like friend potatoes, green peppers and tomatoes all kind up really small, then you add some garlic just for taste. It is really good, when my husband and I were married he used to love it.

fried mushrooms go well in scrambled eggs, if you are making the eggs in a pan fry the mushrooms in a little butter first before adding the eggs. If like me you use the microwave to do scrambled eggs just fry the mushrooms after and add them before serving. A bit of cheese on top is nice too if you have it.

I love eating scrambled eggs occassinally for dinner. I like to add cheese to mine and sometimes if I'm in a hurry I sprinkle a bit of Bacon bits in them. Seasoned salt is good too. Hubby eats egg sandwiches all the time with mayo on them. Myself I cant do the mayo but he likes it.

No, I can't do mayo with eggs either. Even if I have a hamburger or anything that is fast food - they have to hold the mayo

All the suggestions sound great and I've tried many of them. I like sauteed garlic and onions for starters and any kind of cheese on top. Tobasco sauce is good too or even a little ketchup on the side. Heinz 57 or A1 as well as sauteed mushrooms are tasty too ! Bon Appetite !
