I am thinking downy isang banlaw would be the US equivalent of a detergent and fabric softener mixed as one? I have tried those and they do okay, but they do not eliminate all of the static cling if you use the dryer rather than hanging the clothes out.
Since I have to go outside to access the laundry room at my apartment complex, I now use a detergent alone, and then use a fabric softener sheet in the dryer.
If in the summer I am going to hang them on the lines to dry, then I have a jug of the detergent and softener mixed. It saves half as many trips to the outer laundry building.

This downy version in the Philippines is just a one wash fabric conditioner, but unlike the conventional fabric conditioners, you can wash your clothes once and soak it with mixed water using this. :)

That is interesting. I don't think we have it in the states though.

Yes it is effective but you need to put half more of another pack of isang banlaw. One pack is just not enough. Well, it does take out the suds effectively and it does clear the water. That saves us another bundle of water on our washing machine. Quite convenient especially when you're in a hurry and definitely no time to create a washing masterpiece. lol!

yes i am a Filipina but i doubt if downy "one wash" fabric conditioner really works. yes it can save water but how about your clothes? the directions say 1 downy isang banlaw is equal to thirty clothes.. do you follow it?

I don't know about the commercials there in Philippines. But i am using Downy after i washed the clothes and i use it only after i have rinsed the clothes and it really smells good.
To what i know of that, you only need to use downy at the last rinse. Since the first and second would still be that bubbly with the powder soap or bar that you have used. But then, just correct me if there is such a downy product in Philippines that once you used it, even after you washed the clothes, when you rinse, automatically the clothe conditioner will do the rest.
Because i don't believe that after scrubbing, hand wash or machine wash clothes will not be bubbly anymore when you use the conditioner.

Yes this new version of downy is a one wash fabric conditioner. You just rinse your clothes once and then soak your clothes in water and this new version of downy. I haven't tried that yet but if it's proven effective then i might give it a try :)

Hello! Well, I used that "1 banlaw" variant of downy but I prefer to use downy antibac because it is more fragrant and proven to eliminate odor even after sweating a lot. I think I used the same amount of water so I just rinse it well until the detergent was removed from the clothes then I immerse it on downy antibac solution. Happy mylotting!

No we don't use downy isang banlaw because I don't think the bubbles going to disappear after one wash. We wash our clothes 3 times a week and we prefer to rinse our clothes until the bubbles gone on it. I don't know if is comfortable to wear clothes that rinse once sometimes it makes the fabric so itchy on the skin if you don't rinse you clothes properly. We use downy during rainy season, detergent is enough to makes our clothes smells good. The important thing is to wash your clothes properly no matter what detergent, conditioner or soap you are using.

I do wash my own clothes and not yet even used downy. A fabric conditioner maybe is what I have used but not of that "downy isang banlaw".

I use it, and it really works! It really lessens my consumption of water whenever I wash my clothes. =)
