My older son has revision to do. My nephews and nieces are getting a bit bored. Yesterday I took my youngest son and my oldest niece out to an play park which they really enjoyed.
Do your kids stay busy in the school holidays?
What sort of thing do they like to do?

Yes we always try and stay busy during the holidays even if its simple things like playing out in the garden or going for a walk. But my eldest came down with chickenpox just 3 days before the half term holiday so unfortunatly she has spent most of the week indoors because she was too poorly (and contagious) to be leaving the house although did get outside for a bit when she started feeling better. Normally we would plan days out we did manage a picnic in the park the last day of the week which was lovely and as horrible and difficult as staying in was (her little sister also had an ear infection which resulted in a burst ear drum so it was pretty horrible for both of them at least being ill in the holiday means they wont have missed much school my eldest only missed three days which im pleased about.

We are still in school for another month. After that my kids will be very busy. My boys are teenagers. They both work. On top of that one is wrestling this summer and one joined a track club.
My daughter is 9. She will be going to camp for one week. We also are taking a vacation this summer. Other than that she likes to just be outside in the pool or playing with her friends.
