Do you miss your pets when you travel?

Hi maximax8, That is the reason I don't like to go travelling, I don't like to leave my pets behind, I have two cats and I haven't traveled for many years, I will be going away for a few days but my hubby will be home looking after my cats while I go away with my friend. Tamara

actually i do not have any pets and i do not like to keep pets as well.i am neither fond of dogs or cats so it is no problem for me at all when i do travel.if i do not have a pet then i do not have to worry about pets at all leave alone missing them. that is one of the considerations people have to think of when they buy a pet you know.a pet has to be taken care of even when you are away from home.suppose you are living alone then it becomes a problem.that is why i never keep pets.

Hi Maxi. How are you ? I am a pet lover too. I have a cat, very beautiful and adorable. I have named her "Picky", because she is very picky with the food I give her. Oh yeah , I miss her so much when I travel. Very fortunately, my neighbor takes care of her when I travel. I leave her with them, and they take care of her even better that I do. When I come back, Picky doesn't want to come back. Ha ha ! She likes to stay on at the neighbor's house. May be I should change her name , to some thing like "Traitor" ! LOL ! No no, just kidding ! I just can't let her go ! Have a nice day Maxi !

hi yeah i do miss my pets a lot-we have 4 dogs-they are mixed breed german shepherds-very cute and lovable. since i m a sailor- i have to sail for abt 4 months at a stretch-that is the time i really miss my cuties. and they miss me too. the head of the pack-my first pet milo, gets so much depressed after i leave that he does not eat for 2 dayz.

Hi Maxine, Well until recently I had a dog too and I never went away whilst I had him but my two cats, rabbits and fish are looked after by a neighbour if I go away and it is usually only for short breaks so I don't really have time to miss them especially as one of my cats can be away for a couple of days at a time anyway hvaing his own adventures, he has been down but still wanders like the old Tom cat that he is LOL Huggles. I have six rabbits and one cat. I love travelling, but I always miss my pets very much when I am away. My husband and I have found a really good place for our rabbits. We know a woman who lives at a farm and when we are going away on holiday she cares for our rabbits. She has many animals at her farm and we trust her completely. I know that she loves animals and that she takes good care of our rabbits while we are away. We haven't had our cat for more than 4 months and we have only been away once (our honeymoon) My husband's sister cared for the cat while we were gone. When we are going on holiday in July, we are going to put our cat in a home for a while. I really hope that we have found a good place.

I have two small dogs and one cat. I miss them so much when away. They are usually with my friend who lives in my house. It is so hard to sleep at night when I am away from home, missing my furry friends at night...

Yes, for the most part I miss my dogs. I have two of them and I hate leaving them when we travel. I always worry that they are okay. But it is nice to have a vacation from taking care of them. Especially since my youngest dog just turned a year and is still a puppy. So, he still gets into puppy trouble and sometimes it drives me crazy!

My mum also looks after my dogs when me and my husband go away and like you I always miss them! I sometimes think about not going away because I don't like to leave them!! x

My daughter and her fiance are leaving Australia for Los Angeles at lunchtime today - and took their pup to the boarding kennels yesterday, where he'll live for three weeks. My daughter said she cried - but her fiance was brave! Her pup was happy and excited to go boarding - he's been there before, and she said he loves interacting with the other dogs.

I do miss my pets when I am traveling. We don't have pets center here so we can leave our pets while we're away. When all of our family members go to vacation together, we have to leave the cats with our neighbour. She take good care of them, still I am still worry about them, can't help it. I wonder whether they were fed well or do they get to run around as much as they want. I guess I am thinking too much.

yes i miss very much my pet on travel but my dogi was die 7 years ago so miss my dogi very much now
