We Finally Tried The Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty (Wendy's) And We Loved Them!!

There's a Wendy's just up the road and around the corner from where Hubby and I live. We went up there today just for Frosties, and they were delicious. We love them!!! I don't think hubby was too nuts about the chunks of hard toffee in them, but I loved those. Because of the chunks, I used my spoon more than my straw, and saved my straw for when I was done with the chunks.
For those not sure about coffee, there is not enough coffee in there to make it taste really coffee-ish, it just takes the super-sweet edge off of the chocolate. All in all, I think the two flavours struck a nice balance. We really enjoyed them. I posted yesterday asking if anyone had tried them, and now I'm posting today to say that we finally got up there to have one, ourselves. We're going to go back much more often, now that we know about these delicious treats.

I have never been there to try that either. I am not much into coffee like that though. I drink my fair share of it at home though. I mainly drink it just black with nothing in it.

I may just have to go and try them! I have gotten iced coffee from McDonalds and I love the Vanilla ones. I have also gotten java chillers from Sonic, which I also love the Vanilla. *Not too much for the hazelnut, but my daughter loves them!
I am glad that Wendy's finally got something besides frosties.

Haven't heard of this before, i'll have to look for it... it sounds great. Up until a year or two ago Frostys (in my area anyway) didn't come in any flavor except chocolate. It always seemed odd to me that Wendy's would try lots of different menu items but would only offer Frostys in one flavor!

It sounds delicious but at 540 calories and 83 carbohydrate grams sthat would be way too dangerous for me.

i had one of those the other day and it was just ok to me. first off it melted to fast for me. by the time i walked the block and half it took me to get the hospital, it was soup....
