What is your favorite tool?

Is it a power tool? What kind then? A jackhammer, a miter saw, a Tonka truck? Or maybe it is a weapon? A katana, perhaps? Your car keys? The fierce look in your eyes? A tool is an instrument for manipulating the world around you. Tools are one largest signs of advanced life forms (some animals besides humans use them, but they're few and far between). Is it your thumb? My favorite tool is a spatula. It flips the burger patties.

A laptop is very useful indeed. I much prefer it to a desktop computer. Unfortunately you can't flip burger patties using a laptop. Or maybe you can?

Really? Because I function in my retail job all the time without using my mind. I guess being a zombie doesn't really count as actively manipulating the world.

I don't know if I really have a favorite tool, but I guess for the sake of discussion I'll say my kitchen knives. Having sharp knives makes it a lot easier to cook (at least if the knives are actually clean, and not buried in the bottom of the sink).

Can I choose my computer? I mean there are quite a large amount of things it can do for me that without it, my life will surely be quite different. It allows me to access most information I need and in addition help me deal with lots of banking related stuff.

Absolutely. Actually I hadn't even considered a computer, since it does so much that it almost feels like an organ of my body, so nice one.

Definitely my glasses. Without them I can't see thingd clearly because I'm a short-sighted person. Poor me but that's true. I wish I had the money to do the lasix surgery so I won't need these glasses any longer. Happy My Lotting!

My favorite tool is my cordless screw driver. Makes me feel strong and powerful when I have to get a screw in or out! Someday I hope to acquire a power nail drive.... I just think they are cool when you can get a nail in fast and easy! Spatulas are cool but that entails too much clean up . ha ha ha

A power nail driver is a monster of a tool, but a cordless screw driver is really great too. Carpal tunnel syndrome caused by too much old fashioned Phillips screwdriver usage is not so fun.

A simple charcoal pencil is one of my favorites. See there is more than one for me because it depends on what or for why I am using which tools. The second one is the camera. The first is for the drawings that I do. The camera is because I will take pictures of different things and then put them to the charcoal pencil and draw them. I also have another, that is my laptop because I use it to display the picture that the camera took so the charcoal pencil can draw it. So actually I feel that it isn't just one tool it would be a combination of tools that would be ones favorite.
