Yesterday I was sitting at an ourdoor table at my favourite cafe, here in Guelph. A lady walked by with a yellow lab. I looked over at the pup, and he started running towards me. I was sitting behind the patio gate, but the design on the date was big enough that I could safely and comrfortably stick my arm through the hole, and play with the pooch. What a great dog. We had a wonderful time. Of course when I got home my cat was upset with me for having played with another animals. LLOL Do you also attract passing pooches, when you're outside?

Haven't had a dog run towards me to play but my Terrier at home, most of the time I go to touch and play for a little while with dogs myself.. Their just so lovely, even with german sheppards in the mall I go and touch them first before heading to my destination.

Hi danish...I am one of those people and especially when I have my son with me because he loves dogs. I know some people are hesitant to have you touch their animal because they're just afraid with everyone being so sue - crazy, but I find that usually animal lovers are good people. And if the animal comes over to us we're going to ask to pet it. I was walking around the block one afternoon and a dog came over to us. He was so happy to my son and I that he didn't want to leave us! It was pretty cute!

I am! I love dogs, and they seem to sense that in me. I always ask the owner if I can pet them before I do. We have a little bitty dog, as we live in an apartment, but I love big dogs! My friend Yoleah has a boxer, and Beans just loves me. Of course the feeling is mutual. When I go into the house, Beans immediately comes up and starts licking my feet if I'm wearing sandals.

dogs usually are standoffish to me..maybe i smell overwhelmingly of cat to them. cats on the other hand,i draw like a magnet.i've been known to be able to pet the "unpettable". any given day i usually have at least a couple of neighbors cat's in my yard hanging out with me,which gets me sulked at by my cats

Yes, this happens to me all the time ,and I think is because animals have the ability to sense who likes them or not.

Oh yes, like you, I'm a dog attractor! lol It doesn't matter where I'm at, I'll say something about the dog and as soon as it sees me, it tries it's best to get to me so I could pet it. lol I'm an avid animal lover and it's obvious! lol My furry friends get upset when they smell "other" creatures that I've petted but they get over it rather quickly.

yep even vicious dogs are not vicious with me, experts say that dogs sense people's feelings and they know who like them and who don't. They also know good people from bad people.

Yep, even usually aggressive dogs like me. The little rats don't though. I think they're afraid I'll kick them ( probably would ).

Yep. I love all kinds of dogs. They like to come up to me also. I guess they can sense that I will love them and be friendly to them also.

I'm not a big dog fan, so I do try to avoid them, tho there are some that are just too cute. Now cats... not only do I try to get them to come to me, I've been know to pick them up if they are friendly and stray and drag them home....

I just moved out of an apartment complex that was for "seniors 55 and older". Active living and all!!! The place was nice and upper rent, but "infested" with dogs! Everyone had one!! I was so tired of living at the dog pound and they didn't bother to do right with the dog. Just let them do their business wherever they wanted. My patio was right on the grass, and every day there was at least 2 piles right there at my door! Dogs ruled hte sidwalks even. I was walking one day down to the office and this lady had this little dog on the leash.. did she pull the dog to her to allow a passer-by to have half hte sidewalk? Of course not.. she just let the dog have lease and he ran to me... I stepped off the sidewalk into the grass and he followed and struck up his leg on my leg and I knew what he was going to do so I kicked at him to get him away from me... she yells at me "don't kick my dog!" I said back "don't let your dog pee on my leg!" She said "he wasnt' going to do that" I said "the only thing a dog does when they put their leg up like that on something is pee".... and sure enough... I looked down and the dog had moved over to a bush and was doing it... I pointed to it and said "do you see what he is doing? And that started out as my leg.. keep your dog off me"... and I walked on past. She just stood there. So me and dogs at the moment are not to good friends!! I am glad I got out of that place!
