I had raised a question not so long ago here pertaining to myLot being viewed as a type of part time job. I seemed to receive quite a bit of replies in regards to it.
Some of you had admitted that it does seem like a part time job and some just dabble here aside from their normal 9 to 5 jobs to make a couple extra dollars.
The question that I am posing now in somewhat relation to the above question is that I would like to know if you are taking pride in being a member here.
Do you feel that you enjoy the idea of waking up in the morning or even coming home in the evening from work or elsewhere and setting some time aside to make a few extra dollars here?
I am a stay at home mother and wife and I have been a member here for some time now. I have made a little extra money doing what I like.
I consider it to be my job at home at a work desk which I am now referring to as my home office.
While I realize that not all work at home jobs pan out, I have found myLot to be very dependable and if dedicated enough you can make some good money here.
I also say that it is nice to make my own hours and care for my family and home.
What is your take on the matter? I would like your opinions.

I don't consider mylot a job. It is something that i enjoy alot & have made some great friends here. i enjoy all of them & their discussions etc. Any money of course would always come in handy at my house. have a happy day.

I can see where some might not view this site as a job.
I just have a tendency to look at it this way because I do not work outside of the home and I feel proud for what I do here and making a little extra money does not hurt.
I have been able to buy some things that I wanted due to being here. I enjoy myLot as you also do.
It is nice to have something that you can work at and make money along with joining in some good discussions and meeting nice people.
I am glad that you pointed that out the fact that you enjoy the discussions as well.

HOPE u didn't think i was knocking u for saying it is a job for u. i didn't mean for u to think that & if u did i'm sorry. i don't want a job[em]w00t[/em. i worked for 47 years outside my home, that's long enough.

Oh, I do not think that you were knocking me at all. I appreciate your replies and that is why I opened the discussion to see how others are viewing their stay here at myLot.
I know that it might seem that I take a lot of pride in this place but I do not work outside of the home and being here corresponding with others and making a little extra income is giving me a boost in my esteem.

I am new here so any money to be made has not happened yet. I am sure it will eventually when I put more time and effort into it. So far, I have just been reading discussions and responding when I can. I have not yet got the hang of it but so far I have really enjoyed seeing the posts, discussions and interaction seen on here. I can say I am pleased at this point and hope to make more friends and eventually make it a part time job. I do have the time and space to make it a part time job that would be very appreciated since the economy is such a mess. For now I am just enjoying myLot very much.

Good to hear from you sherpor. You have just started I see however it will take you some time to get the hang of it and be able to navigate through the community.
It is such an easy thing to do once you get the hang of it.
For a little while I was starting to get bored but then I picked myself up and figured that I can look at myLot in a different way.
As I have stated previously I have a computer desk and chair where I can have a nice drink along side me. Of course that is the situation with a lot of people here.
It is just that I am giving what I do some extra leverage because I am proud to do what I do. I am making money honestly and I am able to be at home and take care of the duties I need to take care.

I am doing fine and I am glad that you are participating with some of my discussions. I think that myLot is a great way to correspond with others and make some money while having fun.
That is why I log on to this site. It gives me something to do when I need to break away from every day living.
And I also consider this to be a type of job for me. Although I know there are members here that have full time jobs and just come here to relax and have fun.

How are you? Yeah I am sure I will make money but right now I am just enjoying it. I am on the computer 24/7 with all sorts of interests. My desk is next to the television, the bed and next to my cats so I can multitask; part of being a Gemini. Glad to be here and a friend.

I have always been proud to be on MyLot. I have had great experiences here. I work a lot of hours, and I do not earn a lot here. On the other hand, I do some networking here that helps me learn other ways to earn. I feel blesses with the friends I have made here as well.

I have come to find that there are a lot of people that are proud to be members here. I have also had some good experiences which includes corresponding with friends and making some extra cash.
It took a little while for me to earn but of course I always say that it pretty much depends on your dedication.
I don't do much networking on the computer but that does sound to me like an option. I do consider this to be a job. It kind of makes me feel better and that I have a place where I belong. It is a good thing that you feel blessed to have made friends here.

my lot I would not consider a part time job, for me it is just spare money, but if you combine it with a lot of little places like this then it does become a part time job. Many people work several different sites each day.

I can see where you would feel that it is not a part time job. I believe that there are many different views as to what this site represents to people.
I can certainly respect you for the opinions that you have. You are a very smart and insightful person winterose.
You do bring up a good point as to the fact that combined with working with some other sites on line then it could become a sort of part time job.
It could become more lucrative, that's for sure.

Well i am a proud member of myLot. Of course! This is the only site that pays me for real with unbelievable regularity. No late payment. No crap. MyLot has become part of my daily routine and i never pass a day without myLotting. You got the right, myLot is dedicated to cater the needs of the members. MyLot is one of a kind i should say. So far, so good. I may have some mysterious loss in earnings but i got used to it. It's definitely a lot better than other paysites who doesn't pay at all.

I am also proud to be here in mylot. I never realized how much fun this site is, but the more I am here, the more I like it. There just aren't that many places where we can make friends, share opinions and get paid for them as well. I am having so much fun here, that I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I have learned so much in here, and I hope that others have learned from me as well. I just wish I had heard about this site long before I ever did. I am glad I finally did sign up though, and I have never regretted my decision whatsoever. I am here for as long as I can be. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I do work from home. And I like mylot. Been here over 2 years now. I think it is an wonderful way to make a few extra dollars. And I find I often learn a few things too. Can't ask for more!

I like myLot because of the sharing. Different points of view on things, thoughts on things I've never imagined, lots of warm-hearted people, and pennies. I don't treat myLot as a money-making site although I do get paid for posts. I'm just not willing to devote x amount of time finding discussions to which I can respond or thinking of good topics to start discussions. I'll just keep it casual.

I am glad this is working for you. I have yet to even reach a payout here and I joined well over a year ago. But I found a couple of other sites where I am earning paypal payments and gift cards, so I usually focus on those.
I really tired to stick with MyLot, but it is discouraging to earn 10 cents a day.

Well like some jobs there is a lot of stress with it. I consider this to be a job but I feel stressed to make more then I am now. I think it's a combination of having made more here in the past, and also a combination of knowing what it feels like to make a lot more at a real job. I can't say that I take great pride here, but I will say that If I keep on going at this site and dedicate as much time here, I will come to feel proud to be a member here.

This is a similer question to your previous one in which you asked us if myLot is an option for earning money.
For me, myLot is a place where I can enjoy a lot. I can still remember days in Jan 09, when I got bored and started making friends every day and opting for a notification and hence foun some interesting friends here.
For me, I am honored that myLot provided me a plcae where I can do anything to have fun without crossing a limit. Having friends is an issential thing in life and myLot did provide me that. So, I have a descent place for myLot in my heart!

I'm sorry this took me so long to reply to. On good days I stay with my schedule of checking mail in the morning, and doing the majority of my posting at night after the kids have fallen asleep. Due to some scheduling conflicts I've found over the last few weeks my plans have changed so I'm working sporadically. I do try to treat it like a home job, though I do come here for conversation as well, because that helps me to treat it seriously and stay with a schedule. Of course, I treat my other forums the same way and they do not offer any payout.
I was disappointed last month when just before the payout I'd qualified for at a minimal amount, I lost 20 posts overnight and suddenly wasn't paid out because I was below the amount. It's taken me this entire month to gain that back, and though I've qualified once again, I'm not holding my breath in case the same thing occurs again. Mylot never did answer my question regarding it, so I've left it to the fates in this case. If I get paid, it's a bit extra for items online, and if I don't, I've had fun talking.

I like here very much I found Mylot just 3 days ago.Maybe it can earn some money,but I think it's a good plat for us to communicate.So I proud to be a member of here.And I want to make friends here,too.I don't care too much about how much I will get.

I enjoy using MyLot and i love being able to help others and be helped. what i also like is being able to make some money on the sidelines. With regards to it being a job, not in my case. for me it is a way of making small money and having fun at the same time. I also get to do what i enjoy the most... help :D

Hi bamakelly, after login here for several months I found there are lots of fun to meet friends and share views in certain interesting topics with them here. Yeah since then I logged in mylot site nearly every day. I have stick to it till now. I am busy with my house chores as well as my two part time jobs, so I could login here only during my spare time. I’m happy that I could enhance my language as well as my writing skill by typing posts here frequently. What’s more I could make a few bucks here monthly.
It’s nice that you could have mylot to pass your free time writing posts at home and to make bucks of money per month. Besides you still could take care of your family.

i found mylot a good site. i read a lot learn a lot from here. when someone shares a recipe and when it sounds interesting me nad my wife tries it. we read a lot form the parenting and has children interest and do really learn a lot. i also give my own views and also laugh and have fun on discussions of my close friends here. its a fun site. i dont earn a lot but i am happy that i purchased a few things on ebay with my earnings.

I can see that this would be a very good way and opportunity for a stay at home mom to do and and to make some extra money. It is a good honest site and money can be made here. For me it is just kind of a fun way to spend a few spare moments of time. Sure the money is nice, but I don't get to be on here very often because I work a lot outside of my home. So it is difficult for me to be on here enough to make pay out every month, it took me several months to make my first pay out here.

Hi bamakelly! Yes, I am proud to be a member of mylot. I am also housewife and I would like to think that mylloting is a part time job, but my problem is lack of motivation to reach the payout every month and I'd like to change this attitude. I do enjoy being here and apart from the earnings, I've also learned a lot from this site, which I'm always thankful.

yes im proud of here to be a member of mylot. because this a to call this website is a part time job.i will do this mylot after my work or my vacant time that easily to do this website coz we get answer from our opinion and we are to get from our own words and aside from that we will earnings money from here.then i am very proud that my friend will helping me to join this a good website................
